how does everyone feel about the damage it does in zvz . I think it is a bit low does damage escalation affect it?

Vile curse does no damage in ZvZ because no cursed staff is worth using over other choices for fighting between blobs.

It's unfortunate and sad but there is almost no viability for warlock staves in ZVZ
('Q' range is too low for a warlock to DOT anybody too) -
I always thought Damnation and Great Cursed were good for ZvZs. /shrugFusionbomb - GM of Morbidly_Obese

It's not really about the Q - it's that none of the E abilities work well in real ZvZ situations. Some seem good on paper but it's just more effective to use something like a brimstone, siegebow or wailing/long bow.

The AOE that dots everybody inside of it would be good for ZVZ, but again, not as good as direct damage classes
