T8 node taken away from Terris: what's the point controlling them ?

      Hey,

      I'm wondering after Nimue is here, what's the point controlling territories ?

      I thought the global mecanic was to get them to get T8 ressources, craft T8 stuff and sustain your GvG teams with it.

      But since terris will not have any T8 on them, what will make them worth to spend T8 gear to gain control of them ?

    • i'm not 100% for devaluing territories, but i can understand why they're putting t8 resources out into the open field.

      the only issue i might have is which nodes they plan on relocating. If you look at the some of the layouts (forest, swamp, + the stone maps), there are guards that are placed so far away from the resource, you can gather them without alerting a single one. You can simply go in with invis and gather away.
      There has always been at least one node like this.. and since the last patch, there are now multiples.. the devs have offered no reasons as to why guards are placed in such a way. If it's been done on purpose (rather than incompetence), then they've already intentionally nerfed the territories.
    • You can put a donation tab on the tower so gatherers can fill it up. Plus two tabs for players in the alliance. A place to bank gear at after fame farming. A Tower that you can hide under, it shoots lasers that you have to run away from or you will die in 2 seconds. A safe place to escape to or abuse bubble mechanics. You get a bonus for gathering on the terri. So a bonus to the t8. Guards and mages protecting the territory so your t8 can enchant. The guard buff nerf zergs. They enrage over and over and start to murder healers. Have to pretty much take threatening strikes since the aggro is hard to pick up otherwise. You cant really dive a terri for more then a few seconds. You have to slowly kill guards now which removes some fights that use to happen. Mages that generate energy and season points passively.

      The territories will still have t8 on it.

      Thats true, yet somehow you have to be able to sustain a gvg team in the first place, which is impossible after energy nerfs and t8 nerfs, especially when you have to do additional gvg just to get 1mil worth of energy, which is far less than sets, then you include overcharge, and you are broke.

      So what Nimue is gonna do, theres gonna be A LOT less regular gvgs, more NAPs and just crystal realm circle jerk and meaningless combat

      And no, most guilds cant afford fighting daily.

      Edit: Also, You just use lower tier gear in gvg's if you need. Or get it from the open world like everyone else?
      Devs have stated they have no plans for expanding beyond T8, and instead want to focus on expand sideways (as in more options for folks to level).

      Lots of recent changes which bring chaos to the game.
      We seen them implement changes, not listening to the community about warnings, and seeing the damage the changes done and only after 30 days trying to fix it out.
      Happened this season, happened in season 2.

      Guess time to revive ARCH alliance , that's defiantly the path Devs pick.
      Bring 300 players to a zone, lock it due to map capacity, and sit there for hours collecting your reward.

      I think you wrong, they pushed that update during testing period BEFORE launch.
      Anyway, they changed ALOT of stuff before launch - whats your point?

      They lost the path of the game when they put t8 in territories.

      Now they are correcting it. You are right that a lot has change, and now more changes are needed.
