Make Arena as good As Expeditions!!!

    The devs fucked up with arena when they made it a game of it's own. Arena has no resemblance to any part of the game. So its useless for practice purposes. Since it also gives nearly no reward, its also useless for reward purposes.

    So arenas is pure "fun". It doesn't serve a purpose other than "fun". That's why arena was never a success.

    Adding PvE fame to arenas is a great idea.

    It would be pretty easy to abuse, though.

    If fame is based on kills, then each team just takes turns to wipe the other team.
    If fame is based on "participation", then one team will just let the other team win fast.
    If fame is based on winning, then pro GvG'ers will just fame there, and it'll be no fun for the rest of the population.

    A low fame/hour like that would be hard to really abuse.

    Scoring tickets = earning PvE fame.
    150 tickets = 150k fame.
    You killed someone, scored 2 tickets, 2000 fame / 5 = 400 PvE fame earned by every team member.
    You captured stone, scored 10 tickets, 10000 fame / 5 = 2000 PvE fame earned by every team member.
    30k fame per arena per player maximum.
    If you are for fame here - you better go regular expeditions or any dungeon.
    If you really enjoy arenas - you are rewarded for your skill, and may spend more time there.
    @Korn Tell me you like the idea. I'm sure, after such change, arena population, and that population quality will shine.

    There are a lot of possibilities.
    Problem with a ladder based in win/loss ratio is that it then becomes much more of a team thing than personal.
    Because when you solo queue, you often end up in terrible teams and theres no way to win at all.
    So people would only go in arenas with premade teams.
    Maybe have both team and solo ladders, the former based on win/loss ratio and the other victory based.

    But the best ranking arena system imo would have to take caps, kills, assists, wins and losses into consideration. this way you could lose but still score a lot of points if you played well.

  • Frankly, I vote for a "Full loot Arena". Not like GvG's where you have to bring multiple sets, but at the end of the arena fight, the winning team gets the loot from the losing team placed into a chest (or 5 chests by role, 1 for the healer, 1 for the tank, and random 1 for each of the dps). Of course, you count for trashing etc...

    This would have to be separated from regular arenas obviously, so it would need to be a separate queue that clarifies the intentions.
  • Let's all be honest I say arena should be it's own thing since it is its own thing, you should have arena only wep and gear and a rank system to give players a different feel in albion to really feel your in a "arena" gear needs to match the setup means no healers dodge stuff and random scenes lions monster randomly come out and fuck you up have a house Tag to rep like faction warfare also can be full loot to get more tokens or points for turn in.
