Thanks. I have always used the visual editor - and I used to be able to use <aoitem> and <aospell> tags no problem. Is it because there's another tag wrapping the entire page that's causing this to not work anymore?Dero wrote:
It looks like you edited the page using the visual editor. When your write tags in this it will encapsulate them with <nowiki/> Tags as it expects that you wanna show the actual code of this. I removed those from the page and now icons are displayed as expected (though there is no size set yet making them enormous).I don't know how to put in tags in visual editor mode so putting icons there is probably only possible in source edit mode.Grimhawke-EB wrote:

The warlock page I've been working on no longer shows those icons.

Wiki Progress Update:
tl;dr:
- the new domain with the new design is live, it looks super and we need more contributors: wiki.albiononline.com
- win 5 x 10.000 Gold or 15 x 750 Gold for contributing to the wiki during October
Announcement: October Progress Update & October Wiki-Contributors Contest
Three months have passed, since we have started working on bringing the official Albion Online Wiki back to life. Initially it was just a little side-project, with the goal of trying to figure out how to tackle a project as complex and as huge as a proper Wiki for our favorite sandbox game.
You might have seen my regular posts on reddit and our weekly gold-code giveaways on the forums over the last weeks. With this contest ending soon we have reached our goal of assessing where the wiki stands, how we want to move forward and what the next goals for this project are.
I would like to provide you all with a tiny update on the progress made so far and the next steps over the next months.
recap - last 3 months:
- we dug up the old wikis that both existed as previous projects, consolidated and moved the information that was already on there to the new, official domain: wiki.albiononline.com
- we gave a lot of the existing articles a haircut and started working on adding more of the basics that were missing from the wiki
- with special thanks to @Evoque and @Dero we have received gracious official support from SBI - helping us to host the wiki properly, updating a lot of the tech in the background and sponsoring the gold-codes
- many of you have started contributing to the wiki, updating and adding information and I would like to thank you all for doing this
- just yesterday the new layout-design, put together by the website and art team of SBI, was uploaded - and if you ask me, it looks pretty cool
- we gave away more than 300$ worth of prizes to the community, specifically to all the editors who helped adding information, updating articles, giving feedback and being all in all super people, helping the community to put together this great information resource
next steps:
- after moving to the new official domain and uploading the layout, the focus of the next three months will be:
- filling up the wiki with the rest of the basics
- further improve the existing articles to a better standard
- think about how we can utilize the wiki for more than just its basic functionality
- once our current giveaway ends next Monday and the last winners of the gold-raffle will be drawn, the weekly 10 x 750g gold code giveaway will end
- filling up the wiki with the rest of the basics
- however, we have some great news to share:
- SBI has decided to sponsor another big chunk of Gold, to be given away to those who contribute to the wiki during the month of October
- Details:
- 15 x 750 Gold will be given away as part of a raffle among everyone who makes a meaningful edit to the wiki between the 1st of October 00:00 UTC and the 31st of October 23:59 UTC
- 5 x 10.000 Gold will be given away to contributors who show special effort or dedication - the winners will be handpicked by a jury consisting of @’Evoque’, @’Elsa’ and myself where we will weigh factors such as: quantity, quality, problem-solving, creativity and relevance
- 15 x 750 Gold will be given away as part of a raffle among everyone who makes a meaningful edit to the wiki between the 1st of October 00:00 UTC and the 31st of October 23:59 UTC
- Details:
- we will discontinue the weekly topic idea and move to a bi-weekly or monthly focus, because this is easier logistically and less stress for everyone involved
how can I get involved, win prizes and help the community?
- go to the wiki (wiki.albiononline.com) now, login with the account you use here on the forums and pick something you could see needing a bit of improvement and start typing
- tell your friends about the new wiki: that it has had a facelift, but needs some more love in terms of plugging a few content holes - we need a few more hands on deck who can bring the wiki up to speed and want to earn a bit of gold for doing so
- leave feedback on existing articles or make suggestions for further improvement here in this thread
- continue to be super and help expand this treasure chest of knowledge
- thanks for reading and again - thank you for helping the community and getting the wiki off the ground!

Hey Bogul !
A lot of items in the wiki aren't existing anymore. . .
such as this one (i believe) :
wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Recovery_Potion
We should do something for these. Maybe a big tag ''deleted'' or an archive, or something

And for one last time, I presend the winners from last weeks 750-gold-code contributors raffle!
Thanks to everyone
The next drawing will be on the 1st of November (or within a few days).
I will send the keys as soon as I have them. (edit: all sent)

With the recent patch those two articles in regards to season points, energy drops and other content need a bit of love
I went ahead and worked on the baseline a bit, but it needs some pictures and confirmation of the numbers mentioned in the articles.

There should be a spot on the forum for contests. I keep finding them after they are done or mostly done. I would love to check on what contests are running and it would be interesting to have them compiled in a singular section of the forum so the chronology of these is easy to see.
Note: I really love and appreciate the contests. They help drive some forum and social activity. They seem to be really positive too which is great. There should be a separate player contest area too.The post was edited 2 times, last by Raithe ().

One of the next bigger topics I want to get started is Expeditions and HCE's:
wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Expeditions
All of the maps still need guides and explanations. I know there are so many nerds out there who run lv14's daily. So in case you know some of those dudes - send them the link.
It would be a cool thing to get this written down. Pulling patterns / skipping patterns / strategies / general explanations and so on. -

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I’m happy to announce the winners of the October Wiki-Contributors Giveaway!
These winners were picked based on contributions made to the new and redesigned official Albion Online Wiki (wiki.albiononline.com) during the month of October and at this point I would like to thank you all for checking out the new wiki, adding new information and helping to update the many pages that are already available.
