Added/changed the following herb and seeds pages today:

- Crenellated Burdock,
- Crenellated Burdock Seed
- Dragon Teasel
- Dragon Teasel Seed
- Elusive Foxglove
- Elusive Foxglove Seed
- Firetouched Mullein
- Firetouch Mullein Seeds
- Ghoul Yarrow
- Ghoul Yarrow Seed

When I have more time, I will make/edit the potions/foods page.

I've been playing around with Categories a bit, I've been adding them to various things, like Fish for example:

The idea is to over time just assign every item its correct category. But I'm not sure if what I'm doing is the best way to organize it.

I'm open for suggestions on how to do this better.

I've modeled it after the Auction house, so it should be familiar to players when they see it:

If you look at the source of the entry, it looks somewhat like this:

[[Category:Tier 5]]
[[Category:Enchantment 0]]
[[Category:Quality: Normal]]

With the 2 added categories, specifically for this type of entry (Freshwater Fish / Rare Fish)

Some sites, also use templates, for example: wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Uncommon_Cedar_Logs

thats by including: {{Wood nav}} in the entry ;

but it seems like we have a bunch of templates that should get unified first - before we slap them everywhere

Yeah, we should at least adopt some 'guidelines' to every item page, so it doesn't look like a design festival.
Should we use the {{Item infobox}} instead of the way I did the other pages above ?

Also, how's the discord for the Wiki going ?

Yeah we definitely need to fix up templates and start using them. I'm looking at organizing items by their base (unenchanted) versions, and each page contains all enchanted variants. I don't think Uncommon Iron Ore needs to be a separate page from Iron Ore, for example.

I vote for taking that part out.

For navbar template, I made a simple one for all the raw resource items, in two different styles: wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Template:Raw_Resources_nav
The top style puts everything in easy reach and is one template for everything. The second style is easier on the eyes and is individualized for each resource category.

Side note, please don't try to use this template until the style is decided on, or else you'll end up with a mess nav-boxes on every page!

Btw - since it may be relevant if you're into figuring out some details of mechanics / spells / bosses / items / loot-tables and so on and want to put them onto the wiki.

The gamefiles for Albion are easily accessible by unpacking the android client APK, downloadable here:

albiononline.com/en/download

If you then extract the APK, with any accesible unpacking tool you can find the important .xml files in the following directory:

Albion-Online\assets\GameData

Some cool files to poke around are:

items.xml
spells.xml
loot.xml

But there are many more to explore.

However, that influence (especially for quality) is universal across All items. A "masterpiece" item will always add +100 no matter what the item is, or what the tier of the item is.

As such, having individual pages/explanations of each item is irrelevant. Simply showing the "base" value would be enough, and having a page explaining the addition from quality. The only possible benefit I could see is if you are going to post the specific armor/damage/heal numbers from each of the spells at different item power levels (which would be difficult to do considering all the possible modifiers).

Outside of that though, making duplicate pages that all show the same 'universal' stat is kinda pointless in my opinion.

I agree with that @UnholyKiller. I do think we need a good page on Item Quality though!!!

A recent comment on the Albion subreddit lists a lot of needed information that would be really useful to have on the wiki. We should consider prioritizing these topics:

I really wish this game had like... a good wiki or something with information. I can't find answers to half the things I google. Like what the hell is cluster reduction, where do all of the resource world bosses specifically spawn, do the resource world bosses wonder around or stand still, how much energy does a rogue mage cost, what is gathering speed "factor," what does pacify a warcamp mean, what does IP do for gathering gear, when does a gvg start--do both teams agree on a time within the open hour, how far in advance does a gvg need to be setup, if you only need one gvg to take a territory then why don't they change hands more often, how to counter RZ dungeon mass pullers with stealth items to steal chests?
(literally anything about the fame credit system until lewpac made that video on it like 2 weeks ago. I'm good on how it works now but my god is none of it intuitive/explained.)

If you can answer any of those questions / point me to a wealth of information that'd be great since I'm still unsure on them.

I've noticed the alchemist stations in Caerleon all have the same price within like 5% and they're all ridiculously high compared to royal city stations. I've wanted to buy a plot and just setup an alchemist but have absolutely no idea where to start or how. Thanks.

What do you all think about @Zalrenic's design of a weapons main category page?

The idea is to have one larger page like this, instead of duplicating content on a lot of different pages (all of the holy staffs).

fun fact: the mage item(s) all have their own named skill-tree (arcanist, pyromancer, priest ...) but the other weapon trees are just called "XY Fighter" What happened there @Eltharyon?

I spent about 10 minutes flicking through pages using "Random Page"

There are several broken or outright incorrect pages. Lots of item descriptions that either no longer exist or do in fact exist now.

Is there a way to flag these pages for deletion or 'hidden' so that we can circle back to them?

Can we decide on a kind-of unique style for items?
I want to make more pages, but I won't until we figure that out.
Maybe @Bogul or someone else can make a contributing guide or something, to get us all in the same page.
