Micro shutters been around since beta

    • Micro shutters been around since beta

      When is SBI going to fix this. It’s a know issue that’s been acknowledged by SBI two years ago. Game is playable but it’s just choppy and not smooth with this currently issue. Can we get an update on this or time line?

    • I also observed an increased amount of mirco frezzes / shutters since we have gone from alpha to beta phase. Also sometimes skills "load" on the first use and cause a massiv 1-2 sec frezze, which is irritating when you start the game or your screen game frezzes for 1 sec and your skillshot goes the otherway.

    • Thanks I feel like it's somehow software related. Something to do possible with NVidia drivers, unity and direct x12. No matter what I do to settings wise nothing works. Also it's not throttling my CPU and Ram usage never goes above 50%. I've also tried multiple monitors ranging from your cheap 60hertz 1080 to 4k 144hertz monitors with UMBLC. With and without Vsync on or off. Nothing helps the issue. Could also be an issue with possible the server itself however my ping is typically 60-80 and my MS is 7-9. It's driving me crazy. Not just me having the issue I frequently watch Twitch streams and see many other players suffering from the same problem.

      @Dagother any updates on this issue. it's been getting worse to the point where PvP and other activities are becoming difficult to do. I'm trying to be understanding about this issue and I know they work on optimizing the game. However it's frustrating that after two years this problem still exist and is only getting worse. I love playing Albion but this performance issue is making the game unenjoyably.

      Sorry for the late reply, it might have to wait a bit. Have you tried changing your FPS settings in-game? Cap to 60/30 FPS? If you've got the latest windows 10 update, I'd recommend disabling the record tool which is enabled by default after the update:

      1. Hold and Press the Windows shortcut key + I to open Windows Settings.
      2. Choose Gaming -> Game Bar.
      3. Toggle the ON switch under the “Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar” to Off.
    • Neu

      Yes I've done everything you can possibly imagine I assure you when it comes to in game settings. I've even used different computers with different CPU, Video cards and OS. Nothing fixes the issue. I have the game on three different computer they all suffer from the same issue. Which all also have different hardware and OS. Yes all the windows 10 crap has been disabled since day one. I would never use any of there terrible recording software.
    • Neu

      I don't see this issue ever being resolved you can see how apparent it is in the video posted above. It's a major issue that really needs to be addressed. Granted I bought the game back in Beta one knowing the game would have problems however being almost a year into launch SBI really needs to make the game run correctly a top priority. It makes PvP not playable which is a major selling point of the game. I really need a workaround for this problem. Iv'e posted about the issue in the past and have been very patient.
    • Neu

      @Dagother

      Its not caused by a driver related issue, a gamecapture/DVR issue or general setting in-game(nothing really helped here, capping FPS, V-sync etc...). Believe me i tried a lot and i have to agree with Bal. Performance for such a game should be a top priority and not an afterthought (see the ZvZ problems that we had at release, which got "fixed" 6 months! later. It has gotten better but is still far of from perfect.
