      Its the truth and we all know it, Assassin Spirit needs to change or be improved somehow or someway

      <<<1>>> REASON WHY ASSASSIN SPIRIT NEEDS TO CHANGE
      1. most other abilities have, up front, front loaded damage, assassin spirit is an normal attack and attack speed buff, you must be in melee range to pull it off, and you must be always in melee range for a long time to pull off the damage neccessary to out dps other skills
      2. most people are moving around all the time, you wont have that chance and it wont be worth it
      3. you have a massive target on your head, with a huge reduction in both armor and magic resistance, and with little chance to attack moving enemies, your a huge burden to the team
      4. no one uses assassin spirit for GVG, Hellgate, Zergs
      5. the only place where assassin spirit is viable is when you are completely safe, or versing a boss where your tank has the aggro, but this is way too extremely situational and very very badly optimized

      <<<2>>> A COMPARISON
      Assassin Spirit [ VERSUS ] Spirit spear

      * Assassin spirit has a 4 second cooldown, while the spirit spear has a 2 second cooldown, assassin spirit not only has a significant resistances debuff the buff for each stack is pretty small and it will take a long time to stack up to three chances, and you will be able to barely do any damage before the third stack while all other skills have front loaded up front damage that is reliable and consistent one big instance of damage
      * Assassin spirit is a melee skill meaning you have to be in melee range and you have to stick to your target for a period of time, to pull off any form of dps at all, and most targets are moving around meaning you wont get many chances and the trade offs arent worthwhile
      * Spirit spear is a ranged skill not a melee skill
      * Assassin Spirit cooldown is long for the small buffs it gives and must be in melee range, you will not OUT DPS most other weapons and skills if targets are moving around, or you get cc'ed by the vast number of cc's available on the opponents team
      * Assassin Spirit not only is melee only it has a very significant resistances debuff
      * SPIRIT SPEAR COSTS HALF AS MUCH MANA, assassin spirit costs twice as much mana is Spirit Spear
      * Assassin spirit only lasts 7 seconds while Spirit Spear lasts 8 seconds and also has half the cooldown time, 2 seconds compared to four, and has half the mana cost and no resistances debuff, and is ranged

      <<<3>>> INNOVATIVE CHANGES AND CONCLUSION
      reference t8 claws with 3 stacks 36% aspd buff, 90 % normal attack damage buff, 63 resistances debuff, 22 mana cost

      PROPOSAL:

      make Assassin Spirit Have the same percentile of normal attack buff as the Spirit spear

      Spirit spear has 105% normal attack damage buff, WITH 1. RANGED 2. HALF MANA COST 3. HALF THE COOLDOWN 4. IT EVEN LASTS LONGER 5. HAS NO RESISTANCE DEBUFF

      NEW ASSASSIN SPIRIT 10% attack speed and 25% normal attack damage per stack, totalling 30 attack speed and 75% normal attack damage = total 105% normal attacks buff same as spirit spear WITH NO RESISTANCE DEBUFF THIS TIME ON DAGGERS

      EXCEPT THAT assassin Spirit HAS twice the cooldown, twice the mana cost, LASTS SHORTER, and also NOT RANGED, meaning there is no guarantee you will be able to do more dps than front loaded, up front damage skills of other abilities, AND they also have cc's inbuilt, and you need to be in melee range, with people running around and lots of cc going off everywhere, and the first two stacks being virtually useless and taking forever to stack up, there is no guarantee you will ever be able to reach the dps potential of a basic q skill with front loaded damage

      HOWEVER LOOSING THE significant resistance debuff, is the step in the right direction, although the new proposed changes have less attack speed and less normal attack damage buff, it is still a step in the right direction to loose the resistance debuffs

      (BEFORE) t8 claws assassin spirit before at 3 stacks = 36% attack speed buff, 90% normal attack damage buff = 126% total, with 63 resistances debuff, and costs 22 energy

      (AFTER) t8 claws assassin spirit 3 stacks = 30% attack speed buff and 75% normal attack damage buff = 105% with no resistances debuff cost 22 energy (or less i havent thought about changes energy levels ) no resistances debuff is a step in the right direction

      because spirit spear also has a 105% normal attack damage buff, but it has RANGE, HALF COOLDOWN, HALF MANA COST, LASTS LONGER

      assassin spirit is severely gimped right now as it as because it is melee and auto attack damage based, other skills are front loaded up front RELIABLE damage, and no one uses assassin spirit in GVG, HG, ZERGS, and MOST DUNGEONS, except super safe dungeons and all you are is a boss killing bot, in safe consistent areas, that is severely gimped and serves only a very limited amount of uses, and also for more practical uses it is never used because it is melee, THERE IS NO GURANTEE you will ever pull off the dps potential of other reliable front loaded damage skills WITH cc as well, and people are moving around and cc flying everywhere, you have to be in melee and you have to keep attacking for a certain period of time, to be able to barely match the dps potential of other front loaded reliable damage skills on other weapons that can also cc or have buff effects as well

      so -36 armor and resistance for 3 stacks or -30

      and dont make it increase as item power and mastery increases because all the increases are the same percentile why would black hands have more resistance debuff compared with everything

      but removing it altogether and doing the proposed 105% at three stacks is a better step in the right direction, the debuff feels clunky, wierd, and counter intuitive

      Reduce? Remove. There is no reason for it to exist.
    • +1 for a gap closing Q ability, or at least another short dash. W dash is a large mana sink, and outside of Bloodletter there could be more mobility in daggers since they don't offer much else.

      This is mostly for all the burst E skills that require you to not only get to your opponent but stack skills. Would be nice to be able to jump in and out of an opponent's area in case you get focused.

      Dagger's almost inherently require you to use the dash on your build, since only bloodletter has a gap closer on it.
