# Formula to calculate food cost

@Strange I actually found the new table they might use (at least it gives exact result)

 T2 2 T3 6 T4 14 T4.1 30 T4.2 54 T4.3 102 T5 30 T5.1 61,975 T5.2 118 T5.3 229,975 T6 62 T6.1 125,975 T6.2 246 T6.3 485,975 T7 126 T7.1 253,975 T7.2 502 T7.3 997,975 T8 254 T8.1 509,975 T8.2 1014 T8.3 2021,975

Note also that IV is rounded down, so 495,8 is displayed as 495.

@Monochrome any new about nutrition cost per craft ? I really struggle a lot
Also, the formula to calcule focus cost

1,75^( LOG( (IV / #ofRss) / 2) / LOG(2) ) * #ofRss * 10

seems strange.

I mean, if I calculate it for 24 rss item T4.1 :

1,75^( LOG( (720 / 24) / 2) / LOG(2) ) * 24 * 10 = 2 137, but in game it's 1 499.

However, the formula works fine with refining.
I see where the resource values are - should be able to make that update. Maybe nutrition cost is

IV * ((1-.225)/10)?

• Works fine?

I am running into some issues with refining.

Example:

Bronze Bar

Resources:
1 Copper Bar
2 Tin Ore

Item Value: 6

TOTAL: 3 resources

1,75^( LOG( (IV / #ofRss) / 2) / LOG(2) ) * #ofRss * 10

1.75^(LOG((6/3)/2)/LOG(2))*3*10 = 30

Actual Focus Cost, per Albion2d & Game: 24
• @Bernstein well, actually #ofRss for refining is always 1.

So 1.75^(LOG((6/1)/2)/LOG(2))*1*10 = 24

What item are you calculating here?

This should be written down somewhere, thanks a lot Sensei.

• For nutrition cost this should roughly match:

IV * 0,1125

@Sensei987 I used your latest Table for IV and the nutrition cost in your first post as guideline.

Calculated values (truncated decimal places):

 T4 1 T4.1 3 T4.2 6 T4.3 11 T5 3 T5.1 6 T5.2 13 T5.3 25 T6 6 T6.1 14 T6.2 27 T6.3 54 T7 14 T7.1 28 T7.2 56 T7.3 112 T8 28 T8.1 57 T8.2 114 T8.3 227
• I just did some testing:

Item Nutrition Used Item Value Adept Knight Platebody 16 224 Adept Guardian Boot 8 112

Seems like the formula is IV / 14, as indicated in the table two or three posts above, at least for the T4 stuff.

• Here is the new rss item value table

 Tier Item value T2 2 T3 6 T4 14 T4.1 30 T4.2 54 T4.3 102 T5 30,02 T5.1 61,98 T5.2 118,02 T5.3 229,98 T6 62,02 T6.1 125,98 T6.2 246,02 T6.3 495,98 T7 126,02 T7.1 253,98 T7.2 502,02 T7.3 997,98 T8 254,02 T8.1 509,98 T8.2 1014,02 T8.3 2021,98

Note : IV is always rounded down, so 495,84 appears as 495 in game

I think its only rounded down on the ui. If you look at a stack value, its rounded after the stack is multiplied. Aka

If u have a item with 1.6 value:
1 stack = 1
2 stack = 3

But id need to verify again

• Yes, the final display seems to be rounded down
