Artifact's item power and specialization bonus system is ruining the flexibility of different builds

    • Artifact's item power and specialization bonus system is ruining the flexibility of different builds

_ Artifact items have 2 stat advantages:
1/ the extra 100 compare to common items with the same tier. (this is ok because they're rare)
2/ they don't have specialization, the specialization bonus go along inside the main branch in the destiny board, so roughly 60 more (this is not ok, because no one is stupid enough to spend life point on specialization in the destiny board) LPs're spent in the main branch so you can wear higher tier items
-> Because of the stat advantage when using an artifact, everyone is tempted to build their characters base on the stats rather than the styles.

_ specialization bonus system is completely forgotten, no one care about it. they do progress by themselves, but no one care about that. Ask yourselves, when 2 martial artists fighting each other, which is the most important factor that decide the outcome?? The quality of the weapon they use ?? or their skills ??

      My suggest is that:
_ leave the 100 extra for artifact there (because it's rare), but move the specialization bonus artifact to a new branch (not on the main branch)
_ Make it harder to progress and reward more item power for each specialization lvl so people will be willing to spend LP on them. I'd say twice as hard to progress compare to the current system, and ~ 50/ lvl would be appropriate. And pls, remove the bonus in the main branch so that people can choose whether they want 50 more permanent power, or 100 drop-able extra .

    • rather than specialisation,i think the game would work better with a mastery system for your character's base stats.

      a few examples-

using staff line could increase your base ability damage/healing power

      bows attack speed/movement speed?

      swords attack damage?

      hammers crowd control?

      etc....

just a few ideas,i think it would make every weapon worth training, while making your character build feel more interesting and unique

The specialization is the base stat, because they're permanent, they stick to you characters. That's a very good idea when looking from a realistic view, since in real life, you are good with a bow doesn't mean you dance around with a spear. But the artifact specialization bonus has ruined all that
