    Improvements

    Mount mechanics reworkWhen (voluntarily) dismounting, your mount remains in the world and continues to provide you with its load bonus, and allows you to quickly re-mount it. If you get knocked off your mount by an opponent, or you attack another player, your mount will make a swift exit! On top of this, mount health is now depleted first while you're mounted, so when mount health reaches zero you will dismount at full health. With this change various mount values, such as speed, health and mount up time have been adjusted.

    Refining, transmutation and fragment overhaul
    • All T4+ mobs now drop Essences, which are needed to refine all resources.

    Does attacking other players include defending yourself against gankers while gathering? ie someone attacks you and gets agression first and you respond, does this then mean your mount will dissapear and you end up overloaded mearly for defending yourself against another players aggression?

    So basically unless your farming for leather, or running dungeons, you're now f**ked if you want to refine resources you have gathered because oh look. you do not kill mobs farming stone, oh look you do not kill mobs while mining ores, oh look you dont kill mobs while harvesting wood, oh look you dont kill mobs while farming Fiber (unless you're killing swamp spirits to farm them for fibers).... and people refine resources not only for use in crafting but also when transporting said resources as they take up less weight when their refined.

    Also speaking of resource weight, exactly WHEN is the reduction in resource weight going in?

    Actually, only faction mobs drop esences, so if you farm leather, "you are fucked" too :P and also, now you can get any resource be killing monsters (golems, spirits, treants, etc).

    Think about it in this way: Right now, "fighters" almost not contribute to the economy of the game (Rather than produce silver), now, they will produce both silver and a "crafting component".

    Adding 1 more component to craft, will just result on a rise of prices, which is ok since even a t3 nature can make 100K+ silver per hour.

    The only posible problem, could be the low rate of essences, in which case it is very easy for devs to just increase it.

    If it was CRAFTING That would be fine, however we're talking about refining, not crafting, which means gatherers who refine their resources to make it easier to transport end up being f**ked over, you're also missing the "which are needed to refine all resources" which also includes T2, T3 etc, so how exactly are said players after a wipe or launch going to get said essences except via killing T4+ mobs, have fun doing so in newbie starter gear..... cause to get better gear IE T2 T3 T4 you're going to need the essences to refine said resources, which you'll need the upgraded gear to get said essences....
