You know I really enjoy the heavy reliance in Albion on transporting goods across the world. I'm also of the opinion that for large scale transportation a player should have many more choices on what mount they use to transport their goods beyond just an Ox for large loads.
This is where my idea comes into play. As we have already seen throughout the world of Albion and in recent screenshots of the new world. There are numerous carriages/wagons throughout the game. Rather than simply a vanity object in the world I believe we should have access to carts/wagons pulled by either horses or oxen. Given the choice between horses or oxen you open up the potential for either fast moving but lower quantity higher carry weight than horse OR you pick oxen and you move slower but you have extremely high carry weights for transporting large quantities across Albion. Potentially this could open up options for either single or double drawn wagons and during crafting you can increase the number of items required to craft depending on an open wagon or covered.
In these scenarios wagons would have slightly higher durability than regular oxen but move slightly slower with an increased carry weight beyond normal limits. Currently a t6 Ox can carry approx 1550kg moving at 5.2m/s and in theory a t6 wagon pulled by an ox should increase this carry load to near 2000kg moving at only 4m/s. I wouldn't start players in the game at t3 with the ability to pull a wagon but rather have this start out at higher tiers and potentially extend beyond the current tier number for higher carry weights.
A wagon should fill a role of a lumbering transport that on its own is ripe for attacking but when defended provides a defensible transport to carry large loads of goods from city to city.
