Info on "Blue Portal" Dungeons?

I keep seeing references (in these forums) to a feature I've never encountered in the game: some sort of instanced "Gateway" dungeons. I'm looking for a writeup and (ideally) some screenshots of what these look like so I can find them if they seem like a good idea.

I have done...

Green (solo) dungeons
Blue (elite/group) dungeons
Hellgates

I assume we're talking about something entirely different?

How many may enter? What tier are the mobs? Where do you enter them? Is there PvP?

There is some dungeons on the map that can spawn boss monsters that, when slain, open up a blue portal.

I know one dungeon that is easily found called 'Trickling Grotto', at each end of this dungeon there can spawn this monster and it looks like a regular hellgate portal, except blue.

One party may enter, 5 I believe.
The mobs are at least Tier 4, but I don't know all the blue portals so I can't say for sure.
There is no PvP in the instanced blue portal dungeons.

I have done probably several hundred solo dungeon runs in T4 green (various skeletons), and I've never seen one.

Are they only in yellow/red/black zones? Do they only spawn in blue (group) dungeons?

They don't spawn in solo (green) dungeons.

That's it! Now what exactly are "Keepers?" (Besides Hellgates I've encountered primarily Bandits, Undead, some large tribal people w/ giants, occasional Morgana followers, and then things I can skin like bears and wolves.)

I haven't seen a dungeon like that.

I haven't seen a dungeon like that.

The keeper is the bossmob that when slain opens the portal.

The Keepers are the "large tribal giants" any of you guys took 5 minutes to read a little bit of the background story of albion?

The Guys guarding the blue gates are Gatekeepers, sounds similar but isnt the same

Ah, my bad. The keepers refer to the entire faction then, and the reason for the consfusion is that all the current dungeons that has blue portals are keeper-dungeons?

If so, it makes sense that we get new blue portals with the patch later this month as they add more undead mobs to the game.

Exactly. Now we will also get Undead blues.
Still i wonder if one man portals will be blue too then or maybe undead portals get green?

I hope they will eventually split up the solo/group and t5/t6/t7 dungeons over the factions. It would be sad to lock people to a given faction just because they're in a given point of progression at the time.

Me too. I think there should always be a mix of the dungeons, so people can choose where they want to go.

But honestly I also hope till release there will be more variaty in maps. right now we have about 10 different maps or so? At leats it feels like it. the rest is Copy pasted.
I really can't see the "life" in the world, too generic

Im not too concerned with the low map variety for zones to gather and hunt in, but I am a bit concerned about the lack of variety in town layouts and dungeon layouts. Anyway, they have said that they have people on it and working to fix it, so we'll see how it ends later on.

Okey so "Gateway" dungeons are located in blue dungeons on map which says "For solo player and group" They are different bosses (blue portals on map in dungeon - they have long respawn) - mage and big guy with stone - Mage have smaller map but this big guy have bigger map with higer tier mobs (in red mage have t4 , big guy have t6)

They are hard cus they are elites and you need some tactics to do them. They are indeed for 5 man group. You cannot encouter another group in blue dungeon so you are safe here.

Go to Dauntensea, South West gate. When you go out, you'll see what appears to be a green dungeon in the North Corner of the zone, it is in fact a blue dungeon with 3 of these portals inside. Depending on what tier the gatekeeper is, that's the tier you will find inside the portal. There are currently t4 and t6 portals, AKA Grottos.

Any dungeon listed as a Grotto, will have these inside
