What is the Test Server?
All upcoming updates will be applied to Mordred first and can be tested before the official release. This allows you to preview upcoming changes and helps us ensure
Note: Sometimes we may need to quickly patch the live servers, in which case the version will not be on the public test server first. We try to avoid this situation, however.
How do I find the Test Server?
The Test Server can be selected by choosing the “Test Server (Staging)” from the Server dropdown above Play button in the Launcher
At what times will the Test Server be available?
There’s no guarantee at which times the server will be available. It is always possible that there will be unannounced and sudden downtimes. It may even remain offline for extended periods while no are close to release.
What is the Test Server for?
As the name implies, the Test Server is primarily to test new content. That also means that the available version can and will be unstable and buggy.
Why can I not login to the Test Server?
In order to facilitate testing, we’ll make a copy of the live databases available on the test servers when we apply an update. This means you can login to the Test Server with your normal login credentials only if you had an active and valid account at the time the database was copied. If you cannot login, it is very likely this is because your account was in a different state (inactive, banned, different password etc.) at the time the database was copied.
