The reason for this is, is because of the economy. Part of the point of the game is having to move goods around the world and sell that at different places. (Like if you want to be a merchant) This creates a more realistic trading system. I hope this helps you more with why this is not in the game.

No, but if you can leave items in player built chests or use your guild's marketplace to achieve the same effect.
You can buils chests in player houses and guild halls. You can set permissions on these chests and share them with friends.
Your guild can also have a guild marketplace on its guild island or territory in which you can sell things for as little at 1 silver to guild mates.Flufferpope, OG AO since A1 -
Good info. I like the idea of being able to leave things for people and not sending things. The concept of having to calculate distance while merchanting is an awesome dynamic!

You cannot mail money but the good news is your Gold is Global to all your characters on that account so if you were looking to buy premium for a second or third character you can pull directly from your gold wallet.
