Pinned Three Things You'd Like Changed in Albion Online

    • 1. Re position of the tabs in chest
      2. Craftable HCE portal and also the chance of putting it in personal Island (this will help with the overload of ppl in the cities)
      3. Low the amount of HO's that a guild/alliance can put in a map, BZ's of each city are taken by only 1 alliance and some you have to "rent" their HO (RIDICULOUS).

3 - [...] allow attacking while moving without stopping movement.
4 - Possibility to change the character's name.
      3. Massive NO, because it will make: 1. Ganking too easy. 2. Big fights way more chaotic than they already are.

      4. Like it was said many times before - No. You build up your reputation within your name. You have a simple choice - Play with your history, choices, sins etc, or start a new life with a new character. Nothing more, nothing less.

    • 1. Make the tutorial the blue zone, t3 and t4 royal zones yellow, t5 and up red and black. this will get players used to being killed and killing quicker and teach them that gear is a tool, not a permanent upgrade like in other games. the reason for for t5 red and black is t5 is where progression slows down and its a great place to start learning the hard to swallow mechanics of the game instead of spending that t5 to t6 span of time becoming comfortable with never dying.

2..rework solo dungeons from t5 and up into more of a labyrinth. the portals should close immediately upon entering, but instead of just up to 3 levels, have it span like the roads of Avalon so as you progress through your dungeon experience, you have a higher chance of running into 1 or more players to combat. disband parties on entering so the solo dungeon experience is never 1v6, but could end up being 1v1v1v1v1. Keep to the theme of each dungeon (keepers is keepers) and the further a player progresses, the more harrowing it may get. players can A out when they've had enough or loaded enough loot (and if you follow my first suggestion, this give gankers good fat targets), and those who don't could eventually bottleneck at an end boss or just have it keep going. it encourages PVP and gives players something other than CD to do solo.

      3. Faction skins man. c'mon already. Even if it just reskins royal armor for the city logos. Theme the city guards after the city champions like you did with Caerleon. You guys put a lot into the faction war and its a lot of fun, keep it growing.

That some horrible idea for 1.

This is insanity that will result in all casual players leaving the game. Have you seen the stats for the leaders of the top guilds? They are all pks with almost zero gathering fame and very few with even any crafting fame. No one wants to have to spent weeks figuring out the best min-max gather setup just to get t6+ resources - and still get casually ganked 50% of the time. That's not fun, and players are already not staying with Albion once they hit that ceiling.

The game already has the same problem most MMO's do these days - a bunch of russian trust-fun oligarchs spending thousands of rl dollars to have 10 alt accounts so they can use the focus to corner markets on certain items, and all the materials come from ganking casual players with PK-only characters they spent weeks on min/maxing armor and weapons which they also spent unlimited rl money on.

We need ways to combat bad players like that. For instance, if there was a way to blacklist gank guilds and players from buying your wares, and a way to filter out items in the market sold by same, that would go a long way to solving many of the problems by putting tons of pressure on everyone to make alliances and perhaps think twice about ruining the day of anyone and everyone stepping one foot in red or black zones. It would make the guild and player relationships much more dynamic. You'd still have guild wars and PK guilds and players, but there would also be a lot more cooperation.

I'd guess more than half the population of the game doesn't want to spend 12 hours a day managing 10 or more alt accounts just to be viable past t5. What's the point of playing Albion at that point? Most of us actually have day jobs and families and the time sink needed to compete with the likes of trust-fund babies makes the player-driven-economy facet of the game untenable. Might as well go mine in Minecraft or something more fun.
    • 1. Trip Wires (Consumable Item) for Dungeons

A consumable item that can be placed in a distance to the dungeon-running group and warns the party if an enemy player enters the trip-wired zone. This allows the defenders to get out of a group of mobs in time to defend themselves meaningfully. Often the gankers come in and finish off low life or dead players. We started having a "guard" at the back, but that diminishes the playing fun for the player who's standing guard.

      2. A Magnetic Backpack or "helper pet"

... collects silver and loot automatically.

      3. Windowed Map

Just like the inventory window. Let's you use the map more efficiently and safely, especially in Black and Red zones.

      4. Route Planner for the map

      5. Queue Commands with Shift

      E. g. queue several ressource gathering commands
    • Local Voice Chat and a voice chat in general.

I feel that Albion lacks a lot of player-to-player interactions which make MMORPGS and sandbox games fun (e. g. Foxhole). The little role play and banther moments that come along when you speak to each other on a local level, would add so much charm to the otherwise relatively repetitive and static world of Albion.

    • 1: Asset overview window, something to track where all our stuff is without having to strip naked and travel to every city.

2: auto silver pickup, half the clicks I make in this game are to pickup small piles of silver and loot

3: Make PvP fame more rewarding, I do realise the current system is in place to prevent abuse, but surely there must be another way to prevent pvp fame abuse than to make it completely useless?

4: (I have a lot of things but I'll limit myself to 4) If you want to add extra grind, make it horizontal progression, not vertical. The last thing we need is even more grind per item for "elite levels"
