Root should prevent dashes (maybe not blinks)

      IMO it just makes sense that roots would prevent dashes, since that's "moving"

      In games like LoL, snares/roots prevent dashes, for example, so I know many people are used to that concept

      Also, it would be a slight nerf to some extreme mobility bully builds like double-bladed and great hammer

      stun prevents almost any action
      but root is consider such a Light CC that alot of defensive action just bypass it

      it would be nice to see that while rooted Skills with mobility tag gets greyed out and unusable

      well with exception of things like merc shoes, grave guard boots, boots of valor,Royal boots and maybe even daybreaker spear
      because it has a immunity to roots or cleanse component

      not greyed entirely, they still can use skill but prevent then from dashing if they dash while rooted they still on the same position even spell already casted.

      Q spam from daggers and gloves is just insanely op mobility wich need to have counters..

      the things with cleanse properties ofc should remove root, in case of cc immunity it should absorb it while the immunity is active, otherwise the spell should be properly disabled, cases like daybreaker, trinity spear or 1h mace

      in case of battle bracers is weird tho, it should either disable the complete spell or just allow to hover but not to dive
      Brawler style daggers = cringe
      Assassin style daggers = gigachad

      like that will fk alot of people over and make it totaly unfun to play

      like Hey i used my skill but its totaly worthless cause i did not go anywhere
      instead of Hey I cant cast the skill but its still usable after the root to fight back

      you just made the root into a CC + SILENCE..
    • The current root mechanic does its job.
      If you want to talk about making sense, then why wouldn't putting extra energy into a movement cause the root to break?
      Yeah i get it... It's supposed to hold me down, but why should I let it? That doesn't make sense.
      Are the roots really heavy? Are they attached to something heavy?

      Calculate distances and predict dashes so you can get the most out of your utility skills.
