      Known Issues - Beyond the Veil, Patch 8 (Knightfall) (May 8, 2023)

      Fixed issues with Softpatch (May 8)
      • Some players are getting disconnected and can not log in when entering a Road of Avalon
      • All dungeon chests are visually shown as Green;
      Fixed issues with Hotfix #1 (May 12)
      • Context tooltip on Estimated Market value in inventory is missing;
      • The "say" chat channel is not selectable anymore with the chat button;
      • Cluster Map doesn't close when clicking the background;
      • Selecting Fighter party role displays an icon of Ranged DPS instead;
      • Bear Paw's Razor Cut might jump over the target if too close;
      • Changing any Sort-By option in the Marketplace doesn't work without refreshing the Marketplace. (All platforms except IOS, IOS will be fixed with Patch #9)
      • Fishing with a Controller doesn't work because of a bug with the RT button
      Planned for future fixes:
      • Territory Mages only have 1 Ice-Block (Patch #9)
      • Region Map Territory Level only shows the first time you open the map (Patch #9)
      • "Spirit of Vengeance" Spell on Harvester's Garb is missing a note in item description (It should say that the root is removed if the target is hit)
      • Deadly Swipe spell will not restore any mana if you kill the enemy with that spell (fixed with next big update)
    • 1> Travel map seems to be randomly placed on screen depending on zone. Sometimes centered, sometimes pushed to top, to left, to right etc.

      2> There does not seem to be a way to re-center travel map.

      if (1) is a bug, maybe (2) doesn't matter. If (1) is intended, maybe (2) is the bug.

      The Travel Map is centered on your player pin. If you are in the bottom left of the zone when you enter the map will appear to be on the top right of your screen. If you enter via the top left, it'll be on the bottom right. The travel map doesn't centre, it positions based on your position on the map. This is by design and intended, I assume. Works similar to the Diablo 3 map.

      The Travel Map is centered on your player pin. If you are in the bottom left of the zone when you enter the map will appear to be on the top right of your screen. If you enter via the top left, it'll be on the bottom right. The travel map doesn't centre, it positions based on your position on the map. This is by design and intended, I assume. Works similar to the Diablo 3 map.
      That's baffling. I need it centered on my screen, not in variable positions based on where I am in the map. I was so happy and now I am sad.

      Thank you for explaining though, I might never have realized what was going on.

      The placement is actually not random, it is centered on your character, we do plan to add different options for that in the future

      The placement is actually not random, it is centered on your character, we do plan to add different options for that in the future
      Haha yea a kind soul explained, it just isn't what I expected but I'll try to get used to it and look forward to options, thank you <3

      I understand :) I talked to UI about it, they agreed that it would be nice to have a different option, and we hope to be able to do that with a future patch

      Actually, the minimap zooming out is intended

      However, you can change your default zoom level for the minimap if you want to keep it on a different zoom level

      You can find that option here:



      If you are only using it for traveling though, I would actually recommend using the travel mode instead (SHIFT+N)

      1. To get rid of it, just right-click once
      2. Can you specify further? (Please give me an example and what exactly is not working)
      3. Will report this to QA
      4. Is being looked at
      5. That's not really a bug, but rather feedback. Could you give more specific examples? (What does "bad" mean and where does it happen?)

      In regards to this fix - "Bear Paw's Razor Cut might jump over the target if too close;"

      Can you also look at Dual Swords "Spinning Blades" ability. It might have the same issue. In a fight I had yesterday I landed right on top of a guy and it did no damage to him, and appeared to miss completely. The other player had no buffs, or immunities up at the time.

      Not saying it definitely has the same issue, but from what I experienced it seems like it might have the same or a similar issue and wanted to bring attention to it.

      About this: It works as intended, but the description is wrong

      How it works: the Root is applied, but it will be removed the moment you hit the rooted player

      So the Item description is missing a note about that, we will add it as soon as we can :)
