      Honestly, i hate to say that because albion is a great game and i love it, but im so fed up about your shitty, cancerous server structure and im not the only one for sure.

      There has allready been a thread about "splitting the playerbase any further is not good because there are not many contested areas nowerdays"

      Of course! Because nobody with at least a little spark of sanity would participate in factionwars, blackzone or any other full loot pvp engagement, with a ping of 250+ .

      It´s so tiresome getting lagged back over and over again just to see my character die, to a skill performed in an area which i´ve allready passed 20 meters ago.

      First of all: Sry for the outburst but enough was enough.
      I´ve allready done everything i could so far.
      Talking with my provider (at least 5 times)
      Emailing with Albion Customer-Support (for allmost a week)

      New router, new contract with the provider, DNS-server, looking for network updates, testing the ping to 4 different servers from other MMORPG´s (both EU and NA and they all had at least a stable ping) and everything else recommended on the internet.
      Nothing works.
      Even a recommended graphics card update from customer supports side which imo is BS. Sry im not an IT guy but graphics card vs. ping? Seriously?

      I´ve even pinged to the Ablion server and there has never been a more unstable ping since im playing MMORPG´s.


      Im playing from Europe (Austria) and im playing on West.
      When im coming home from work, i can play Albion for about 1-2 hours at best until my 120-150 ping doubles in the evening.
      I love the pvp, but its literally pointless.

      Even a VPN doesn´t seem to work.
      I used a free-trial (Pingbooster)

      Germany (45ms) Server has a problem
      Netherlands (allmost same ping) Server has a problem.
      Then i tried Singapore just out of interest, because i though that maybe the VPN itself is not the best.
      However.. Singapore worked.

      So.. i cannot connect to a server in close proximity, but i can do it to the other side of the globe?

      I agree, for me from Central Europe the east server works better than west server, it is clearly something on the server side, I have tried everything, even the new ISP, the same random ping spikes and lags occur....
      for a good few months the western server is a nightmare, RNG whether I have lags or not.... it's unacceptable in a full loot pvp game that a 6yo game has constant server issues, it's a joke.

      anyone who says it's your isp etc is a twit, it's always a routing problem, and to make it even funnier I have other games with servers in NA and guess what, I have no problem connecting to washington but when I log into albion the game is unplayable
      maybe it's time to invest in partnerships with proxy companies or stop being cheap, because every year the servers are running worse and worse.

      From what I have noticed the problem with routing is a cycle problem can occur for 1-3 months then suddenly disappear and another part of the world has problems and so the wheel goes on.

      But i allready got a new router recently and im not willing to pay 25€ per month, for playing on a server im basically living right next to.
      Let alone using a VPN and in the end it doesn´t change anything.
      Especially when i ping the Servernode in London which has a stable latency and the german node plays pingpong.

      Im in Lymhurst: 130-150
      Entering Bank: 230+
      Im in Hornbeam Wood: 125-140
      I enter a solo dungeon: 240+

      Same goes for arena and everytime it feels like im wasting my buff food.


      1-2 hours of eventual PvP a day, in a game that is build arround PvP doesn´t make any sense to me.
