      Hello everyone!

      There are some changes coming to our Referral system which will come into effect from April 1, after the launch of Albion East.

      We want to keep the system easy to use, but at the same time allow for our Adventurers flocking to Albion to also be able to acquire older referral skins on that server, while still providing interesting skins for those on Albion West.

      Starting April 1, 2023 we’re making two big changes:
      1.) We will run referral seasons every month.
      2.) We will start running skins from previous seasons again.

      With these two changes, players will be able to also get older skins. Important to note:
      • the order of skin re-run will not be the same as the original release order.
      • we will not re-run skins that we promised would be exclusive, i.e. anything released before April 2019, which is everything that was released before the “White Tiger”.
      Additionally, to hopefully reduce confusion over timezones and to continue our attempts to streamline timers that are on weekly / monthly timers, the referral seasons will now always end at 0:00 UTC.

      We hope you're looking forward, as we are, to seeing numerous skins making a reappearance, alongside the many new ones we'll be introducing!

    • You really do not care about your longtime players and economics. You don't care that players try to make silver with skins and the value of "exlusiveness" and collectibles. There is nothing unique left in the game. You just ruined another unique thing about Albion- I always enjoyed having some old skins. Now everyone will get it for free <X I hope noone refferal to a friend since the maquanic is bugged anyway (never got my bambi skin for refferal to a friend)

      Why am I even disapointed about another descition for new players to get what old ones are really proud of. I am sure the noobs are happy. The ppl that actuall have old skins are not.

    • Thanks. This change was announced last year and old players had enough time to sell all their skins.
      (I sold everything in november for really good money.)

      I personally looking forward for my white tiger skin :) And totally appreciate that players now have to play the game instead of just buying skins.
      Also a good thing to avoid RMT.

      Yes, you do. It was announced last year in a statement, that skins will be coming back. They didnt announced a date. But im glad they let us enough time to sell everything.

      Could you please confirm your stance on self referral.

      Is it acceptable?

      If not what will you do about self referrals?

      What would be the punishment for doing so?

      You've completely dodged this question on multiple occasions and in light of this announcement an answer is needed because there will be a ton of self referrals. But you already know that. Will you continue to turn a blind eye and bank the money like you have done for years? Or enforce your own ToS?

      if this is enforced then 95% of the playerbase is banned for tos breaking, so no they wont, lol, pretty obvious, not sure this has anything to do with "bank the money"... clown. It is too late for that, the tos for ref'ing is pretty much for satire (obviously other stuff still apply.. like rmt, hacking and such, much more serious thing)

      I have zero problem with introducing the skins back. What I do have a problem with is SBI condoning the breaking of their own policies to make money, whilst any player who wants to abide by the rules misses out.

      If they want to remove it from the ToS fine ... but dont have the rule there and then condone breaking it.
