      @Retroman the ''meta'' that are on the horizon only brings certainties other than the previous balancing were negligent. The game is meta push, which is easy to play for and almost impossible against. Killing zvz kings weapons like camlan maceand trees like frost, with the exception of the prism, fail to be played.

      I suggest a review, different stun according to the wearer's clothing, debuf of cures.... something needs to be done. A game so full of weapons and options can't get caught in a single melee and push composition.

      are you talking 5v5? Something else? Who is pushing you?

      Can you please give examples?

      i.e - Dual daggers feel bad in ZvZ here is why "blah-blah";
      Camlann is bad for CDs, here is why "blah-blah".
      So on and so forth... otherwise no idea what you are talking about...

      yeah I guessed something along those lines (but maybe 5v5 too, he mentioned something about "push") - but I really just wanted him to elaborate, I get it that English is not his first language, but he can just type weapon name and what he thinks the issue with it is, next to it...

      And range is getting an overhaul/buff already next patch (a minor one, but still)
    • All these balance moves are not like "errors" but more look like to be set on purpose. Vastly overpowering some items and at the same time nerfing very hard others during some middle term cycles requires non hardcore players to respec or buy higher tier to keep up with the game. By using this strategy, SBI maximizes their money income.
      Well, SBI gives a free game so there isn't lot to blame but don't be too hopeful on game balances ;)

      especially now that we have mobile in the game, since the moemnt when mobile came out we can see the change and favor melle over range/mage.

      pure cash grab and zero intention in the balance

      Do they pay for it? I'm not ready to waste my time for nothing. I'm not ready that my balance tests will just say "thank you" and do it their way.
      I do a lot of solo pvp and ss pvp and the current meta looks like a game mechanic abuse

      you will be surprised how many people post random crap on the forums which makes it hard for devs to understand what needs buffs and nerfs
      we have alot of people random raging or posting that X Y Z weapon is OP but does not put reason or any numbers/ videos in them

      granted they dont take community feedback of weapon balance that often
      to the point where people even question weather retro reads forums at all

      this makes it more important that Quality feedback on how to buff/ nerf weapons is needed when they do eventually see the posts


      i am not going to sit here for hours on my end posting on 7 different threads just to get 1 weapon nerfed
      even i dont have that much time

      it would make sense if it wasn't for the fact that the meta is still the same mobility + heal/reset for 3-4 years it's still the same shit and none of you NDA's fix it, looks like the NDA testers are too stupid or can't explain to the devs why combat balance is so sad.
      Not to mention that most NDA barely play the game doesn't pass 100m pvp and are usually casuals login-logout players who get most of their knowledge from third parties.

      you and many others are responsible indirectly for this balance and for how pvp looks in the game, which is trash.
      Instead of pointing out to others that they give feedback based on the fact that the devs have even the slightest clue about the game it's not their fault, the fault is you and the rest of the NDA testers.

      How did g hammer Q and dual sword pass NDA tests ?

      Rebalance Regeneration food - make "Mend Wounds" great again
      I was thinking about changing the combat system from combat lock to LIVE regen this would also change a lot, the fight would be more dynamic and mobility would no longer have such a value.

      your idea is also good, losing trade and resetting would be punishing....
    • They have enough tools and information.
      They know where the weapons are being used.
      Know how successfully it is used.
      They know against whom.

      This is enough to draw conclusions blindly.

      But they have a player base that points to a problem.

      For example with twin swords - theft of power points of other weapons. Like a one-handed spear. It is enough to compare the two skills to understand the unreasonably high strength.

      Lots of players have commented on this.
    • Unfortunately or fortunately i work and and i don't have time to help in the tests, or I would do for sure. The little time I have, i play. Whenever possible I appear on the forum give my feedback.
      I can't argue about who the testers are. But I hope they are adults with more than 500m PvP at least.

      About camlann, i've already commented here, It is canceled by any skill, can be purge and and in previous patches took nerfs as reduction of range and pull area. Compared to the one handed mace is shit. The one handed mace does everything much better and still manages to equip a secondary hand. (But of course, this is necessary for me to tell you after all you're not seeing this.)

      And yes, this topic is about balancing the melees.I'm full spec on melee and I'm not crying, Really is why this composition is easy to play and it's boring, because it disables 80% of the weapons in the game.
      Whoever played 2018, 2019 will remember that all weapons were possible to be played. clap fights have always been the best fights, chokes, desengage, stun, engage. This is all still possible, but PUSH is dominant and just doesn't see who doesn't want it. ;)
