      I am 2santos the bow player from youtube and twitch and I only play bows. I have over 3.500 hours of bows gameplay.

      I am struggling a lot since the Mists and all new patches came out playing solo PVP in the mists and Open world with all bows, I am noticing a huge power difference between the bows and other weapons, bows are way too weak to play solo and the others weapons are way better in mobility, damage and cooldowns.

      To be able to have a chance to compete a bow player need to be full spec, wear expensive gear and play high level PVP gameplay being impeccable because one single mistake and bows are dead because others weapons does way more damage and have way more mobility impossible for bows to chase or escape from them.
      even when a player bows fight enemies with way less IP we have a hard time trying to win.

      Here is some suggestions to make bows competitive again:

      Frost shot: Bring back to 15 seconds or keep 18 seconds and give the frost shot a little more range and make not casting spell like was before in the past.

      Warbow : The magic arrow is so slow and very easy to avoid. Almost impossible to hit enemies that are 10m away because the arrow takes forever to travel. Make the magic arrow to travel faster!

      Bow of Badon Ultimate: make the Storm immune to reflect, does not make sense 1h cursed and others weapons being immune to reflect and Bow of badon take 100% of his own damage. 30 seconds cooldown skill and the hitbox is bugged, many times the skill pass trough the enemies and when we miss we need to survive for 30 second to be able to use the ultimate again and when we use we take our own damage back and also in the Mists rats are chasing badons and going under the skill on propose going all together under the storm and killing the badon player while he fights other player. So no reason for that reflect.

      Wailling bow: this bow is completely dead, keep the damage but give more range and speed to the ultimate arrow and also less cooldown, that would be enough

      whispering bow: Make the ultimate immune to reflect or give some extra buff when the ultimate is active, this bow is dead for solo player and not possible to play open world or mist in this reflect meta and full mobility weapons.

      Regular bow: this bow is dead, only start dealing damage after the 6th hit and is very easy to counter, very dependent to the explosive arrows and without feels like doesn't deal any damage. Bowcaster and light crossbow can erase players in seconds but regular bow not. Makes the ultimate immune to purge, or give more hits and time to the ultimate. the last nerf you guys took 5% of the damage off and that killed that bow.

      Reg bow requires GiGa boots and can be successful as a "turret" build (like Fire Staves), but that only works on really newbie players apparently and everyone else will easily disengage and kite you to oblivion, reset 0-100 HP in 5 sec with food when out of combat and then delete you. Some will even switch to Giga boots themselves and straight up out-brawl you, which is a joke. Enchanted quiver needs a slow added to it, or DMG buffed. (passive slow is crap, stacking both, if Ench Quiver gets a slow built in - might work).

      I have not been able to beat dual swords yet in a straight up 1v1 brawl (even with Giga boots), but before I scream "Dual Sword is OP" - I want to die a couple more times just to make sure it was not bad play on my part...

      600/700 bow here, and kind of already starting to dread my decision to lvl up bow tree (I dont do much kiting with Warbow, even tho I know thats the "flavor" of the tree). I prefer to play anti-meta and Reg Bow turret style gave me false hope that it may work.

      And Mistpiercer is utter trash... unfortunately. Completely unusable in 1v1 and in ZvZ (unless someone is tunnel ganking I suppose... maybe redzone tunnel ganking only?)

      Badon is area denial AOE, like Cursed Skull. Works if you can exploit that in CD (all chokes there) or in any choke really... otherwise its pretty meh...

      most expect it to be good in Solo play with the emphasis on mobility with decent damage
      or in curse/ fire's case tons of damage for 0 mobility

      but the problem comes when Game mode changes. some weapons do better in X senario then Y senario

      Reg bow used to be super strong in crystal before all the nerfs with high shred , fast stacking and decent damage
      and when it comes to solo play warbow and badon were strong with double merc jacket proc on dot

      but you rarely see them now


      but after the many meta shifts other weapons that normaly do not see the light of day just suddenly outshine bow and crossbow
      like for real i do not see bolt casters, 1h crossbow, bow in normal PvP anymore.
      i see curse, fire, gloves and of course dual swords


      i got to agree with 2santos that bows and crossbows got weaker since the rework of mage staffs
      and should get some love
      they have gone far too long without any love

      even swords is getting a new skill

      So not only do you want the frost shot nerf reverted so bows go back to being the most opressive weapon in the mists. But you want to buff warbow and badon on top of it? This is insanity. We had badon with frost shot on 15 seconds and I am glad to not look at it again.

      If the weapons are weak they should buff q skills rather than reverting them to previous opressive state.

      at 700/700 mastery

      like here deadly shot/ poisoned arrow
      360 damage per 3 seconds

      this seems pretty normal

      1h spear
      Q1 lunging strike
      355 damage per 3 seconds
      gets spear stacks

      glaive and pike
      400 damage per 3 seconds
      gets spear stacks

      This is still normal for a melee weapon

      then there is this new skills introduced by SBI

      fire staff 2h Q3 searing flame
      420 damage + 190 dot damage
      on a 1.5 second cooldown + 0.3 cast time
      lets not forget empowered part that deals double damage
      long range 18m

      arcane 2h Q1 chain missile
      540+270 damage per 3 sec cooldown
      long range 17m

      and your next closest competitor is also got a neat buff

      Frost staff 2h Q1
      455 damage 0.3 cast time but 1.2 sec cooldown
      long range 18m


      Like in what bloody scenario that a bow can brawl against those numbers
      and to top it all off basic attack damage (DPS) is the same across magic staff vs bows

      so unless you have absurd numbers like reg bow or whispering (damage + range)
      like auto attacks from bows kina useless

      bows have to resort to badon / warbow stupid long E range of 26 meters
      and that frost shot to keep distance

      I still see them occasionally in CDs. 1h xbow feels pretty strong actually. Bolts are there too, and I see Blots in OW in ganking/bating, just like Dual Daggers, they are similar style "1-shot" ganking weapon that has hard counters but can be devastatingly strong vs an opponent who did not bring defensives...

      i am trying to compare Q spells that has "range"

      glaive and pike are just examples
      of what a 2h spear would deal with Q spell

      i would prefer to give trinity spear as prime example but it has 75 IP advantage cause its a relic weapon

      there are other melee weapons with similar Q spell damage or more in some cases
      but they are pure melee swords, axe and gloves are pure melee range
      so i cant use them to compare range weapons

      spears is the closest we get

      Bom vou responder em Português porque eu sei que vc é BR, acompanho seu canal na Twitch e no YT. Os gringos eu não estou nem ai, eles que usem o navegador deles para traduzir.

      Cara eu entendo plenamente o que você tá falando... Já tentei conversar com outros amigos que não jogam de bow de como o bow é difícil de jogar comparado a outras armas, e eles sempre me respondem que eu tô maluco...

      mas nenhum deles já tentou jogar de Bow para entender isso.. todos eles só querem o modo fácil... Machados, Dessangra, e outras armas que causam toneladas de dano, muita mobilidade, com itens defensivos que dão muito sustein nas lutas... basicamente eles andam e atacam pq sabem que vão sempre estar colados nos bows... isso é frustante demais... o dano do Arco é muito baixo no ataque básico, e como você disse, o bowzinho só começa a dar dano depois do sexto tiro... algo que é MUITO fácil de dar counter... e perseguir um inimigo então... FUDEU, a distância dos ataques de um arco não são altas, e as animações de ataque são lentas... um ataque normal de um bow, qualquer arma no Albion hoje em dia encurta essa distância sem nem fazer força... é impossível no Albion vc tentar fazer uma mecânica de kite como uma Vayne ou uma Jinx no LoL, onde bons jogadores desses dois personagens no LoL precisam de mecânica e habilidade para fazer o kite... mas ainda assim é possível, no Albion é impossível, animações lentas, CD alto pra porra e dano bem merda.

      Isso porque você é FULL SPEEC, imagina quem joga de bow e não é full...

      Arco infelizmente tá com o PVE bem reduzido... não roda em HCE, em Avalon é bem situacional, talvez um bowzinho no boss, ou um Badon... mas tem outras armas que podem substituir com facilidade e até serem melhores, e no PVP, um Modelador de Energia é pelos 2 vezes e meia melhor que um Fura Bruma.

      Eu instalei Albion e comecei a jogar de arco e foquei nele desde o início e realmente tô me sentindo muito merda por ter feito isso, pq a sensação de ser fraco e tudo pra fazer é demorado não para...

      Tô quase dropando do jogo, pq pra quem quer jogar Solo ou em grupo reduzido, tem tanta coisa melhor que tá chato além da preguiça que dá depois desse tempo todo investido upando uma arma você praticamente volta do zero tendo que upar alguma outra coisa até um ponto que seja possível fazer algo em maior nível como uma Avalon e etc...
    • I aggree with the most ,but mainly i want the Q from Gloves and Daggers to be changed ,i cannot accept a Q mobility that provide so much and have 0 penalty.
      Warbow E Need a Rework , when 1 handed Axe got a E that got damage and healing + small cd (10sec or 20sec if you heal) and Range you know that E of warbow is trash.
      When Curse got 0 reflect i would love to see badon also get that 0 reflect also.
      BOW ,WHISPER ,WAILING AND MISTPIERCER are way too bad to even try them.
      Assasin jacket stealth bugs out of nowhere you press E and you never go stealth

      Mist jacket also when you use E from badon you can't go immune to damage if this is fixed badon will gain something.

      SO many wrong things so few changes.

      All W from bow need rework Speedshot,Ray of light,explosive arrows.

      Also Fire staffs need some mobility spell and a small Big NERF on DPS.

      I just cant stand how this keep happening and no one fix that shit. If im correct in my assumption, its because an auto attack happens simultaneously with the invisibility proc. Just add a 0,2s of no invis break at the spell

      But whatever, do u guys remember 1h mace meta? SBI took good part of a year to fix that. 2025 we'll get the sin jacket fix...

    • I think youre full of shit. Bows are so fucking fun in pvp, i DESTROY KIDS. Idk if youre just trying too hard or not realizing the strength of the bow. You HAVE to run away, and they HAVE TO CHASE YOU. Bow does have 1 downfall- they HAVE to chase you. Its not the best at chasing but is amazing at running away. Id bet youre not frost shotting ON the enemy and thus arent utilizing the slow, as many bows do, or youre over frost-shotting too aggressively.
      Ive only played whispering and warbow in open world but HOLY FUCK IS THIS THE BEST BAIT WEAPON IN THE GAME. even with a 18s cd on frost shot i can still get 10s cd frost shots with leather boot sprint, prolly lower tbh.
      The playstyle of bow is mandatory "cuck-bitch" At least thats how I successfully play it. They made the weapon do little pecks of damage but have an immense ability to make no1 touch you.If you rotate your pushback (Q with the volley), frost shot, and boots correctly. along with a hunter hood maybe as well to reflect anything that does actually touch you and boom youre invulnerable to 1v1s.
