I am 2santos the bow player from youtube and twitch and I only play bows. I have over 3.500 hours of bows gameplay.
I am struggling a lot since the Mists and all new patches came out playing solo PVP in the mists and Open world with all bows, I am noticing a huge power difference between the bows and other weapons, bows are way too weak to play solo and the others weapons are way better in mobility, damage and cooldowns.
To be able to have a chance to compete a bow player need to be full spec, wear expensive gear and play high level PVP gameplay being impeccable because one single mistake and bows are dead because others weapons does way more damage and have way more mobility impossible for bows to chase or escape from them.
even when a player bows fight enemies with way less IP we have a hard time trying to win.
Here is some suggestions to make bows competitive again:
Frost shot: Bring back to 15 seconds or keep 18 seconds and give the frost shot a little more range and make not casting spell like was before in the past.
Warbow : The magic arrow is so slow and very easy to avoid. Almost impossible to hit enemies that are 10m away because the arrow takes forever to travel. Make the magic arrow to travel faster!
Bow of Badon Ultimate: make the Storm immune to reflect, does not make sense 1h cursed and others weapons being immune to reflect and Bow of badon take 100% of his own damage. 30 seconds cooldown skill and the hitbox is bugged, many times the skill pass trough the enemies and when we miss we need to survive for 30 second to be able to use the ultimate again and when we use we take our own damage back and also in the Mists rats are chasing badons and going under the skill on propose going all together under the storm and killing the badon player while he fights other player. So no reason for that reflect.
Wailling bow: this bow is completely dead, keep the damage but give more range and speed to the ultimate arrow and also less cooldown, that would be enough
whispering bow: Make the ultimate immune to reflect or give some extra buff when the ultimate is active, this bow is dead for solo player and not possible to play open world or mist in this reflect meta and full mobility weapons.
Regular bow: this bow is dead, only start dealing damage after the 6th hit and is very easy to counter, very dependent to the explosive arrows and without feels like doesn't deal any damage. Bowcaster and light crossbow can erase players in seconds but regular bow not. Makes the ultimate immune to purge, or give more hits and time to the ultimate. the last nerf you guys took 5% of the damage off and that killed that bow.
