      I am writing this post to revive the dead 2v2 content and make it interesting to play.
      In this post the following problems will be discussed:

      IP-cap
      From my point of view, the vast majority of the high-skilled players are not playing 2s anymore because there is nothing to get. By "nothing to get" I mean the chests with 20k loot and people playing 5-1 which gives you 300k per fight, if you were lucky and nothing got treshed.

      ・Solution 1: 1200 IP 65% Reduction like 5v5s/10v10s or 1000/1100 IP with 50% Reduction
      ・Solution 2:
      SLAYER STALKER HUNTER
      ・Requirement: 1200 IP ・Requirement: 1000 IP ・Requirement: 800 IP
      ・Softcap: 1300 IP 50% Reduction Softcap: 1100 IP 80% Reduction ・Hardcap: 900 IP 100% Reduction
      ・Type: Lethal ・Type: Lethal ・Type: Non-Lethal




      Maps

      The problem is that your win rate depends on the map so much(If the map without rocks ranged dps wins, if there are rocks it loses) I think that it would be great to make one map. For example: Four bridges is good for both rdps and mdps because you have a rocks where you can hide, but it's still pretty possible for rdps to kill


      Meta
      It's not hard to notice that all the top infamy players are playing demonic. As far as I see it, the meta does not vary because demonic literally dominates every other weapon. The problem is the E-spell which has no cast time and has a fear for 2 seconds. In addition it also does not lose stacks of Qs even after E. I think that it would be more fair if you make the old E-skill on demonic. I mean the zone with healing reduction
      IP Cap is the core reason why non Healer Comps suck, better cap allows 1 shot comps to deal more dmg, you may think well the healers also heal more, no because the healer will be stunned while you are doing damage. and damage scales better from 1shot than enemy armor

      Remove 20% Heal Reduction in Gates (or make it 5%) because now with previous changes named above, 1 shots are good again from increased IP

    • 100% raise the IP cap a bit or atleast the base IP cap from i believe 900 which requires t6 equivalent which most people just bring 5.1 gear and that's pretty cheap gear and with the loot being crap its not really worth unless you are just crushing everything back to back which still isn't great. Most fights I win are around 250k to 500k max and after a wild fight getting 300k for ur effort is like damn.
    • 1. There should be a way to escape from 2x2 HG without dying like in CD
      2. Lava is a shitty mechanic and should be removed
      3. Maps should be reworked to allow different play stiles. It should be possible to plat with 2 bows, as an example.
      4. There should be a different base IP requirements for HG in yellow, red and black zones. Something like 700, 900, 1100.
      5. There should be a different IP soft cap for HG in yellow, red and black zones. Probably 900, 1100, 1400 with IP scaling like in CD (90, 80 and 50%)

      All of this is very close to old HG. It means that ppl who developed old HG understood what they were doing and ppl who reworked it were not.

      The solution for this is to decrease IP-cap % reduction from 80% to 50%, as it was in old gates. The interesting fact is that Legal had risen this topic before and even got many likes on his post about 2v2 hellgates(https://forum.albiononline.com/index.php/Thread/158967-2v2-Hellgate-Problems-and-Solutions). However, problem remains the same.

    • I've been waiting this update for years. I'm not even playing albion anymore because only content I used to do is dead. 100% not worth to enter with a 2-3m gear and die for a rat using t5 or t6 equivalent that usually results in a 150-300k gear.
      The 2v2 content shouldn't have either ip or healing cap.
      Why not a slayer 2v2 similar to corrupted dungeons? Let big fellas playing as real man and the rats have some fun with their 100k gear

    • I am demoic player who is currently top-1 week infamy for month alredy. I do not see a reason for me to play 2s and fight against t6 guys, because I can make more money basically in every content in the game. I think that all the ideas are very good, especially with IP-cap. I know many high-skilled players who simply refuse to play 2s cause of the gear. I hope that SBI are gonna change it or I'll simply quit this content too
