Mist Loot - worse than normal?

      Too many people, no risk, practically every content in the game is safe....

      people should post about SRD to be open again, let GRD be possible to dive with invis again, remove T8 maps from T6 zones.. avalonians dungeon 0 risk literally silver printing content.
      Cd bugged queue ratted 24/7 0 risk

      then loot will be like it used to be.

      Agree.
      risk:reward is not balanced.

      Avalonian dungeon with scout = risk free, high reward
      Group dungeon with scout = risk free, high reward
      CD ratting = low risk, high reward
      Solo Static Chest = low risk, high reward

      They need to find a way to eliminate scout to make Avalonian/Group dungeon somewhat risky.
      Remove CD ratting.
      Make Static Chest not solo-able.

      It is impossible to balance the problem of scouts in the game, look at caerleon and red zones.


      But dungeons can be balanced as they were before sbi :

      Potions
      • Invisibility Potions
        • Invisiblity now ends when changing a cluster
      This applies to all types of invis, such as specter shoes, undead cape, etc.

      Now it is impossible to skip the naked scout inside the dungeon, but there were a few counter plays to this, i.e.
      no afk scout who could stay in the dungeon with a T6 crossbow and spam traps

      How to balance avalonian dungeon ? after adding sbi :

      • Maps opened in Outlands:
        • T5 maps: T5 zones only
        • T6 maps: T5-6 zones
        • T7 maps: T5-7 zones
        • T8 maps: T5-8 zones
      so now avalonian dungeons can be done from the portal using shrine + bubbles to get to the dungeon already 0 risk
      you go to the gate leave a naked scout there and clear the dungeon with no risk, someone will say there is a risk of being ganked on the way to the city, it's like winning the lottery because ppl have escape gear + giant horses and have to go through 1 zone ^^ I know ppl who farm ava's daily from year's and never died once.

      how to balance it? don't know, scouts are too broken in this type of dungeon, you can't remove them, it's impossible.... remove the gate? then the content will die, because it will be dove 24/7 remove the notification? then there is a scout, so it does not work.
      (as long as there is a gate in the middle of the dungeon, it is impossible to balance it, only apply the system as in the case of GRD that is invis diving the proper distance from the entrance to the pull idk.)
      (Or remove T8 maps from zones below T8, that would fix the lack of risk =reward yea).

      and zone tier... I'm sure the alliances asked for this because there weren't enough spots on T8 maps to pop avas/grd, so they decided to allow T8 maps in zones below T8, but guess what, another abused mechanic that killed the value of T8 zones and risk = reward
      (the purpose of the sandbox is limited space and creating competition and conflict)

    • The fix for scouts could be like this:

      Option one - legalize it. You can buy a ward that warns u if it gets a hostile. This way the ward just costs money but scout cheating is no more an advantage.

      Option two - make scouting more tricky.

      If you stand longer than 5 minutes at the same spot your awareness drops. After 7 minutes u don't see anything any more unless u move a significant distance to remove u tiredness. If your base IP in zones T6 and higher is below 1000 this process is double fast

      Mists are not 0 risk? Pretty much every mist 3-5 people die. The 8.3s don’t die often but when they do they lose a lot of money. The 8.3s can knock you off your horse in 1 hit making you an easy kill.

      my main concern about this post was that it’s not worth anyones time for 50k-100k silver for 15 minutes (200-400k silver an hour). especially if you are risking dieing.

      the only thing fairly low risk in mists atm is gathering

    • should make afk scouting a TOS violation. You should need to sacrifice manpower to scout any area.

      Ban the scouts and make Brecilien/mists only Lethal (BZ)

      Let's do this thing right and make the game harder.

      Also let's make the black market strong again so we can get loot back into the chests!

    • Ate a pie, brought back 1.3m worth of resources within the whole duration (30 minutes) after getting a T8 map. Could bring more if I had fixed my damaged mount or had increased capacity in the bag.

      Approximately 6 hours in the Mists and 2 T8 maps found? Saying seriously there's too much to gather, roaming T8 maps in OW not worth anymore.

      Risk:reward balance as Quagga states. Risk as VseOtlichno states.

      In 30 minutes you gathered ~100 hits (with premium, pie and a gathering set to give 200-250 t8 resources, which is how much 1.3 mil would be). That is like 16-20 t8 nodes at 4-6 stacks per node. No one else is gathering nodes on that map??? Unless you got extremely lucky and got a 8.3 full node or something.

      Most of the time, I'm the only gatherer at the location.
      A couple of questions: are you looking for wisps in the rz or bz? And how long does it take you to find a t8 rare/epic/legendary wisp? Gathering in a T6 map seems unprofitable. Even t7 is not that impressive imo. I think only t8 is profitable, but how much time do you need to spend to find a t8 map?
