Missing cores in the Roads of Avalon.

    • Missing cores in the Roads of Avalon.

      Hello everyone!

Among the feedback you gave us regarding the update, we became aware of an issue regarding the spawning of cores in the Avalonian Road system.
Data showed that roads with cores had no connecting portals. When the roads would get connected through a portal, the core had already decayed.

This means many hideouts and headquarters in the Avalonian Roads have grace periods ending despite less power available than intended.

Therefore, we are doing the following:
      • We manually give an additional 14 days to all currently placed hideouts and headquarters in the Avalonian Roads.
      • With Patch 1, we will significantly increase the spawn rates of cores in the Avalonian Roads.

Because the additional time is set manually, we request players to check if the time was added to their hideout.
If our team has missed a hideout or headquarters in the Avalonian Roads, please contact us through our support team via this link.

    • Thank you! that should lower panic levels. Appreciate the team doing that manually, can confirm ours was done.

I’ve been unusually unhappy with this patch, but the teams damage control has been fantastic. I’m not saying I agree with all changes, just a kudos on the response.
    • "Significantly increase" = 15%??

I don't think the decay is as big of an issue as you think. From playing roads for the last week, as soon as a core spawns there's people all over them within minutes. Even from 5-6 zones out from home zones.

Please realise roads has a much much lower population than the blackzone and the spawn rates that seem to link to zone population need tweaking greatly.
    • Why not increase the drop much higher (like 300-500%) but maybe reduce the amount of power/might a single core grants?

Fighting over cores is some of the most fun in Albion, it’s way better to do this more frequently, have more fights more often than to only need to bank randomly once or twice a week (or even less right now for a purple/gold core)!
    • Extra 14 days is way to long, this removes the point of the system, but the time decay sets in zone with 8 HO will all have max power. this removes the point of being able to easily control zones.

      it was 3
then patch came early so it was 6
now it's an extra 14 days?

so 20 days to get power?

HO zones i've seen so far some with 6-7 HO's most have 5-7 bars worth of power.. imagine what 14 days will do.

that just ruined the chance of any new guilds entering the roads.
    • good job SBI. 3 days gone of the 14 and zones with 8 HO all have 4-5 bars. Way to make it hard to keep control of a zone.

I had hope you were going to prevent this but ur actually enabling it.

No real way to wage wars (raid portals basically dont exist) and one i seen was a dead end.

Cant log out armies in HO zones to attack either. You made controll a full zone way way easier
    • Just in a HO zone with 8 HO most have 3-4 bars some have 7 and only 1 has none to red. (10 days remaining) 2 extraordinary cores connected to zone. it's one giant alliance so they share (no raid portals) no competition to fight over the cores. plz plz explain how this is to stop zone controls

It is meant to stop inactive or 'placeholder' guilds from locking down zones, not from keeping active alliances from maintaining their zones.

    • If core number goes up too much, doesn't this means that alliance in ho zone will be able to keep full control over the zone by feeding 8 HOs ?

@Emii can you please tell us what is the target numbers for the
Average number of HOs by zone if all cores are divided equaly between the HOs ?

I mean guilds are still using placeholder guilds there no reason not too. every HO had power, all you need to do get core bring it to character who created placeholder he drops it into the HO. since you own the whole zone, there is zero competition for the cores. Cores are spawning with only 1 HO having access to them, so maybe a group of 4-5 people mess around trying to get some content to stop you. but after a little bit they will leave and you can freely collect your power.

issue currently is cores + roads layout. Raid portals teased are basically non existence, i've been in so many HO zones and have saw 1 20 man. and that 1 20 man had 0 HO connections. every HO zone should have a raid portal almost at all times and that raid zone should connect at min to 1 other HO zone most times 2.

Since in video they said these zones will be used to launch attacks vs other HO since u can easily get 20 people in. Most cores should spawn in those zones so guilds have to fight over it and smaller amt should spawn in the roads. Furthermore cores should spawn more in zones with multiple HO pathways to create competition. If not you can basically collect cores freely for you alliance and placeholder HO's. it's been like 3 days into 14 day grace and most HO are pretty safe power wise.
    • Could we have a little more core spawn rates up because for a small guild it is still struggling bringing cores to the hideout to keep it working….

    • Lots of Ava road HO maps, T7 and T8 are full of Hideout. (probably not all actually, but still feels to me like the majority)
Ex : when I last visit Setent-Et-Qintis it was full HO max was LvL6 and only the 3 lowers where still LvL3.

I think there is something wrong with the situation :
      - If you are able to maintain a map full of hideouts for so long, it means nobody can build an hideout in your zone anymore.
      - Repeat that for all hideouts zone in avalonian roads, and it means no new guild can go live into avalon.
      - While you are very happy with this state of things since you are already living in avalon, imagine being a in guild which wanna go in there, but find only full occupied spot. Not nice.
=> IMHO, you shouldn't be able to entirely control an avalon map by "blocking" all the hideout spot

If you increase core spawn rate, it will be even worse.

IMHO, situation in avalonian road HO's zones need a new mechanism that I already depict here (or another equivalent) :
If an avalonian map have more than 5 hideouts/hqs with power, all
hideouts and hqs in the area will consume their power faster than usual :
      - 6 hideouts/hqs in the area : power is consumed 2 times faster than usual
      - 7 hideouts/hqs in the area : power is consumed 5 times faster than usual
      - 8 hideouts/hqs in the area : power is consumed 10 times faster than usual

But not an increase of core spawn rate
