      Mists Changes

      • The respawn speed of enemies within the Mists has been doubled to make sure Mists don’t clear out quite as fast
      • Fame received from freeing Caged Wisps, escorting Weakened Wisps, and clearing mob camps now properly applies to current equipment
      • The treasure chest value in the Mists has been roughly tripled to be approximately equivalent to treasure chests found in the open world
      • Weakened Wisps have had their Might and Favor value increased significantly to better reward players who help them
      • Resources now spawn more of their charges up front rather than saving them for later in the Mist’s life cycle to reduce the frequency of one charge nodes
      • Mythical mobs had their loot tables slightly adjusted to account for yesterday’s general loot increase, which allows us to spawn 20% more mythical mobs than before
      • Wisps will now occasionally spawn throughout the lifetime of a Mists region, allowing players to move on should they find one while exploring
      • The mount health cap has been reduced from 1500 to 1200
      • Player loot in the Mists is now protected for the killer, disallowing others from looting their prey for a short time
      Fixes
      • Fixed an issue where Marketplace searches returned too many results
      • Fixed an issue where Stone Block refining resulted in more stone than it was supposed to
      • Fixed an issue where the Outlands shrine buff could be immediately canceled by gathering or logging out - will now keep the silence for 10 more seconds

      You just made 3rd party fighting from bad to worse. Now players will see more bloodletters and battle bracers waiting for other people to start fighting and only dismounting when they got low or half health. This is condoning and encouraging people to rat!

      This is my comment (#49) for yesterday hotfix. I was saying to give protection so majority damage dealer could take it, not the rats but you just did that. NICE!

      LIMIT the TIME people STAYS ON MOUNT inside the mist. Bloodletter, bearpaw, and battle bracers were just staying on their mounts all the time and roaming inside the mists. Looking for people fighting to execute with their high damage burst E. Then when these guys get low, they will dismount and kill either both or 1. Loot fast then they will run because they have unmatched mobility.

      Additional help for above feedback. Put LOOT PROTECTION (at least 3 to 5 minutes) to the dead body inside the mist and make it only lootable to the player who dealt the most damage. So, people can just stop 3rd party fighting. Do not even consider giving the loot to the killer. It must be the majority damage dealer.

      Edit: I played for a few hours, and I verified that ratting and 3rd fighting got worse because loot is now protected for the killer,

      How about eliminating mounts entirely?

      -No mounts, Less people just scouting for existing fights just to gank.

      -Loot remains protected to player that killed target.

      -Significant instant healing / regen regen (75%) given to player that does the majority of damage on any killed pvp target. Effectively a reset for the victor to ward off any kill poachers.

      Not a crazy idea at all, this eliminates the ratting & increases the risk significantly! And a significant increase in the risk is necessary to justify putting truly great rewards in the mists, right now the risk is too low to justify it.
    • I have to say, I'm still fairly new to the game, but I'm finding Mists to be a huge disappointment even with the last few days of patches. Which is a shame, because I think the areas are beautiful and the concept is amazing. But I just can't justify spending nearly and entire evening of gameplay just to find an entrance to the Brecillien. It's supposed to be a game, and fun. This feel more like work. Here's what I'm seeing:

      1. Reward drops are boring, and nothing I can't get in any other zone. Why? I thought this was a magical special place? Couldn't there be some kind of consumable (aside from the new armors) that is unique to the Mists that gives us a reason to even go there?
      2. Re-used mobs. Zzzzz. Snore. And I know there are unique monsters in the Mists. But they are so rare as to be pointless to care about - even with the patches.
      3. Finding Brecillien. I worked a data entry job for Panasonic once that was more fun and felt less tedious than looking for the mythical ring of mushrooms. I just want to see the new city. I don't want to have to waste my week to do that. At least can we increase the frequency entrances spawn based on standing?
      I dunno. I really do want to enjoy mists. It's just too much much trouble for too much nothing. I'm already considering letting premium lapse because I just can't see why I would continue to play if this is the future of content releases.

      Go enlist Fort Sterling, there's always a lot of people doing faction. If you can't find a party, go kill flagged people in other regions alone. I do farm faction points all by myself with bearpaws
    • This post is for the devs working on the mist experience.

      The mists rarity are broken after your 2hot fixes to balance it, you can find more uncommon-legend chests in the world than you can find a single uncommon mists. Even watching the streamers, none of them find mists above common for 8-15 hours of gameplay. I literally screen recorded 6 hours of the mists with 1 objective...find a wisp other than common, running down the clock running through zone....found nothing but common. On the sunday release, you could find all tiers of rarity and it felt pretty balanced and not over saturated, the only thing that needed adjustment were the relic monster spawns. Now it feels like a chore just to explore the mists and the excitement of finding anything other common is poorly received because of the oversaturation of common mists....there is no joy anymore after the 2 hot fixes nuking down the rarity of wisps to almost 0.

      ~The streamers are even complaining about how bad the mists have become since both hot fixes nuking them to nothing but common. Revert the rarity spawn rate back to what it was on sunday because currently it is a horrible experience...
