    • Hope to see more details on the black zone recall feature, really hope its not another ganking nerf.

      Hideouts - portal shrines - black zone banks - rests - mist entrances and mounts with abilities already made it far easier to avoid getting ganked.

      The blackzone risk vs reward is arguably at its lowest, pushing it further will make it a glorified red zone.

      I'm gatherer. I died many times in BZ because of gankers, including your guildmates :D but I agree on that one. Imo that teleport is just too much...

      From the very beginning I heard that BZ is "high risk - high reward" zone. But from update to update (excluding Queen) trips to BZ are easier and easier: Invisibility wells, shield near entrances to portal map, "!" indicator when hostlie presence detected. And now teleport to safe zone. By looking at that channel bar in video, channeling will take around 15 seconds, so very short.
      Dying in BZ keeps economy in some condition, because equipment trashes and gatherers are not bringing resources back... If everyone will be able to safetly get back, even from deep BZ, markets, which are already flooded by resources and materials will be even more flooded by them...
      So even if that skill would make my own life easier, it gets a massive, really MASSVIE NO from me...

      that fix will nerf ho gathering and soloplayers can start gathering. Also you have to reach deep BZ first .

      I liked everything in the video aside from this recall ability, i seriously HOPE there will be condition to use that ability otherwise it will kill the ganking that's left in blackzone and open world in general.

      All the people who watched this recall feature are very skeptical, i personally hope it will be like the map overwiew that was supposed to show you th pve value of the bz zones by that i mean i hope it wont make it into the game.

      What does this has to do with the recall feature?

      My main point is why would anyone bother a risky walk back to town if you can just recall.

      albions design philosophy is risk vs reward but with the recent updates it feels like they're slowly moving away from that

      The cast bar on a screenshot has a length of 455 pixels, and the first frame of the segment accounts for 85 pixels of the channel.

      (455 / 85) * 2 = ~10 SECONDS???

    • this "recall button" will be a BZ killer.
      so with this, i can farm all my soul, put it in a HO then OX it all and wait 10 sec to secure my goods in a city?

      if i feel cornered at a moment in ZvZ, just found a spot and 10 sec later, safe?

      Dove in a dungeon? just tp out then 10 sec and safe again?

      the way back full of goods is one of the more exciting part of gathering/farming cause it let a chance to lose all and how many enjoyed to pass throught gankers to finally access the market?

      as it proposed, it's a big mistake (and i understand they will polish the game for casual but no No NO!)

      There was talk that if you trade, pvp, loot a body, interact with an outlands chest or go into a HO/HQ you would no longer be able to teleport back to the city. Currently nothing is confirmed.
      Don't go away mad, just go away...
    • i think i am more excited for the "portal town", gate camping has been an issue since outland portals were created (the invisibilty potion things was a good idea to mitigate). I have always wanted a return to the BZ port system, campers had to cover 3 gates per port and each of those zones had 3 exits. Getting ganked by roamers is a lot less irritating then getting ganked by t4 swarms of player who have never been more than 2 zones deep in the outlands.

      Im thinking and hoping the BZ teleport will be near the timeframe of logging out. 5 minutes is a long time to not move in a PVP zone. I'm not sure how i feel, but i am interested in what comes.

      you are changing my frost and holy ?!?! given the track record this either makes me excited or really really fearful. Nature viable again ?
    • Please explain the mount recall for me. Does it work anywhere? If so does it have a CD? Or at least a 2minute cast?
      Are we aiming to destory BZ ganking totally now? Because thats what this will do. Say you need to Transport something home from your HO/HQ just step out and click the "Haha im home suckers" Button... And thats just example of abusing it.
      Anything aside from that Feature will be pretty good Im sure but this needs severe limitations.

      Like... it should only work in the zones next to the new towns. That would be alright. And even then it needs a massive cast time. Guys this is a full loot PvP game! If you dont want full loot dont make a Zone where its possible...
