      Disclaimer: The skill shown below has been deemed too OP and covering the fact i received complains that i edited the main post too many times causing confusion. going forward i shall repost the rebalance skill in a reply below once some feedback have been acquired

      After some discussion on the direction to rework speed shot W3 of bow tree
      the version was decided which would improve it but make it still feel the same

      Dodge Shot
      Leap 5 meters in a target direction
      after the leap you ready your bow. lowering all your cooldowns by 3 seconds
      You gain 50% increased attack and cast speed for 5 seconds

      Cooldown: 15 seconds
      energy cost: 30
      Range: 5 meters

      These values closely reflect its its crossbow counter part. knockback shot from the crossbow tree

      The skill it self has no damage attached to it but generates value by lowering cooldown to allow a hit and run play style
      cooldown says 15 but it is actually 12 seconds after the skill reduces cooldown for itself by 3 seconds

    • Horrible imbalance

      All 10 secs 5 secs + 50% AS + knockback Q + Mobility

      That is the death to everyone especially melee..

      I have no clue what you smoking but i definitely want the same

      CD modifier make it all 8 secs..means 3 Q knockback in 8 secs 2 dash and almost all time +50% ASS

      Then you don't need any E any more it is already godlike

      P.S. if u keep editing it use strike through else my feedback looks strange ..as it no more matches your description

    • Sorry tweaking numbers is hard

      one side is OP and the other is not strong enough for a W skill

      this stupid skill is hard to balance. Global CDR is too strong hard to find a balance

      P.S i have stopped editing and that is the final version

      P.S.S if global cooldown is too strong then maybe switching back to cooldown on Q only would be better?

    • if it "lowers all your cooldowns by 3s" and the (effective) cd is 12s, then its giving you 25% effective cdr, which doesn't count towards stat dr and obviously encourages cdr stacking.
      Imagine playing against a bow with 40% effective cdr and a 5m dash rolled into one

      V4 - current state

      Global cooldown seems quite strong and hard to balance. Sigh....
      although i said Final version in my original post it seems like it would be over powered or underpowered with a shift of words

      Look through the 4 versions and tell me which one is the most balanced and their problems

    • suggestion for V1.1

      Dodge Shot
      Leap 5 meters in a target direction (.2s i-frame)
      after the leap your next auto deals 100 additional damage (@ 0 ip) and reduces the cooldown of this ability by 5s
      You gain 50% increased attack and cast speed for 5 seconds
      Cooldown: 15s

      forces you to aa to get the full mobility value, if the leap takes .2s it'd be 30% slower m/s than frost shot
      (maybe an i-frame is a bit much tho I do wish more weapons had them)

      from the options I'd say V1 or 2
      I really wish they'd add orb walking

    • what i had in mind for Speed shot rework at the start was orb walking
      Dodge auto Q auto Q
      but the stand time just makes it hard to pull it off in this game

      but i think its best for it to be a dodge then a strong retaliate steroid
      much easier to balance

      in other games archers are either have this sniper glass cannon build (reg bow and whispering) or this hit and run build (warbow and badon)

      but frost shot is jump is too big and shaves off too much damage from the kit
      unlike frost staves where their Q has power of spell built into it

      there is no in between option. this is why i put a dodge into it but then the % steroid is not enough to cover for the damage so i put a cdr reset

      i think your V1.1 might be the most balance yet
      i am hesitant to put in iframe because invulnerability is a strong mechanic especially when it is on a short cooldown
      but without it point and click weapons will just out value this skill

      0.2 sec is fine i think if players can time the use of the skill correctly
