The Forums Could Use a Night Mode Theme

I am a full convert to the ways of night mode. Rather than switch between them I simply live in eternal darkness. This means the forums burn out my eyes. I noticed that there is an option for different themes, but there are only 3 available.

Could be worth a couple minutes time to investigate. Thank you.

Good suggestion - added a quick and dirty Dark Mode theme that you should now be able to choose from your forum profile settings. If we see people are using it, we can keep improving the theme (or if you have any specific suggestions or notice bugs, feel free to post in this thread).

Night mode could use some brush up.

too much red and its hard to distinguish between threads i have read and threads i have not read

also please make a border for each post so we can differentiate between signature and the post

Also i changed my profile picture to me embracing night mode

I'll keep making changes to it - and as said above, will keep an eye out on this thread for suggestions.

there are 2 things left that need fixing to make night mode perfect

1) my title (below avatar picture) warmaster is missing along with @Piddle title

2) the albion online title on the very top of the page need to be changed. the picture found in the original style use that one.

Using the dark mode now, it's way better but contrast is quite low with some shades of black, might want to use lighter borders, still an improvement.

Adding to this, looking at both side by side:

The light border used on the share container at bottom should be used around the comment container
The default version has the stripe effect for comments (one is light, other is a bit darker), wheres on this right now all posts have same background color.
The borders between sections within the post are gone (time posted / comment / bottom bit which shows options on hover and when a comment was last edited.
The breadcrumbs at the bottom also lost its border both at bottom and top of the site
The current tab (forum / members) has very bad contrast with background on the active one as both share same color.
