    • Is there any advantage in this game as play melee in pvp or pve, realistically?

      Do you think playing melee especially the ones that dont have real potential to catch up enemies (sword, axe, hammer, etc.) (not counting spear as melee, be honest) have any kind of realistic advantage to be viable?

      In other games, melee means more damage or more defense or more lock-in skills that wont make your enemies move away.

      Do you think, in this game aside from the joke +100 hp on various melee weapons, have any advantage at all?

    • It's practically impossible for them to balance ranged vs melee because of the armor system. That's why Crossbows can stand in place and win fights in cloth armor with +50% damage that's packed with nothing but the best defensive spells in the game but they will immediately nerf every melee option that isn't a tank/bruise setup because god forbid you get the jump in them with a burst setup and punish their lack of armor before they can chain 9 seconds of invulnerability.
