      I'm what some people call a Specialized player. I basically play a specific build with small variations for adaptation, and that is how i like it.

      I've played albion since the original Launch (2017) and i'm at a point that i see low to no reason to keep playing aside from PvP.

      However, i do like PvE and the feeling that i'm still progressing and surpassing my limits (and yes, i already use 8.3 and sometimes even 8.3 MP).


      So here comes my suggestion:




      REMOVE THE HARDCAP OF ALL MASTERIES (COMBAT, CRAFT, GATHER, ETC)

      The cap would be a 'Soft Cap', which means that the real limit is the ammount of time needed to raise another mastery in an already high mastery level.

      The advantages are many:

      1) More content for specialized players (like myself) who enjoy playing a specific playstyle and is not interested in 'Maxing everything' just for the sake of it
      2) Competition to see who is at the top ladders
      3) More active playerbase, and others.

      Since most instanced content is already gated by IP this wouldn't break the balance of content... but would open a bunch of possibilities for Open World content and the possibility of 'Half Gods' in Uber gear and very high IP.

      For stuff that affects Focus Cost, only up to level 100 would reduce focus cost. After it an extra benefit could be added, like the possibility of 'God' or 'Divine' quality (crafting), chance to get a random rare resource (gathering/farming), etc.





      A common problem in this kind of approach is the GAP between veterans and new players, so here comes the second suggestion of the batch:

      ADD A +2% FAME INCREASE PER LEVEL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR MASTERY LEVEL AND THE TOP MASTERY LEVEL IN THAT CATEGORY, UP TO A 100% CAP.


      So, for example, if you have 90 mastery in Craft Greataxe and the top player in Craft Greataxe have 120, you will get 60% more fame for Craft Greataxe. If the top player is 140, you will get the 100% fame bonus, and if the top player is 141+ you will still get only 100%.

      This can be calculated based on the maintenance register. The top mastery in a given category is registered during maintenance and used to compare with current mastery of the players to give the bonuses.

      This helps new players and people trying new things to reduce the gap between them and the top players, without making them rush through early levels as if they mean nothing.


      An even bigger benefit could be given to people that are in a party with given top players, maybe removing the 100% cap in this case. So if you are in a party with someone who is, lets say, 160 level in galatine pair combat and you have 0 galatine pair combat, you will get 320% increased fame ONLY WHILE you are in the same party as that person and next to it (same screen). In case you aren't you would only get the max 100% bonus.


      BONUS: THIS OPEN SPACE TO WHOLE NEW POSSIBILITIES OF SPECIALIZED CONTENT/GEAR

      Things like:
      Getting a small chance for a 'God' or 'Divine' quality after a certain mastery in a given craft mastery
      Getting a title based on acquiring specific mastery levels, like 'Master Assassin' for people that reaches 150 mastery in 'Hellion Shoes', 'Dagger Pair'/'Deathgivers', 'Assassin Hood' and 'Assassin Jacket'.
      New rare gear that is only craftable by high level crafters, which require rare resources that drop with a % chance after a certain level of gathering is acquired (also high).
      Secret areas that require high ammount of IP (only achievable by using really high IP gear with high masteries).
      Basically: Give each category of specialists something UNIQUE to aim for, with high enough requirements so that it doesn't become something that non specialists can easily achieve.

      And many, many others...



      TLDR: No more hardcap in leveling up (as seen in other games like BDO, Tibia, Rucoy Online, etc) BUT add a bonus for lower level players to make it possible for lower level players to rapidly reduce the level gap. See the post for examples on why this is good and possibilities it open.

      game is noob friendly enought without this..

      overall interesting and for sure we need something new.. more hardcore for crafting.
      this idea with GOD trier or quality is nice, add something like DIAMOND quality with super low chance to craft, you will need for example unklocked whole tree and full spec.

      unique stats like LEATHER SET: gathering gear (+5%extra) more skin gathering.. regular set +5% more fame gained at sand clusters.. (or extra stats leather +5% cooldown reduction, at sand clusters)
      samew ith plates (snow cluster +5% more fame and +5% more defence) etc...
      but chance to craft should be suuuuper low like 0.00000003430%
