The game revolves around high value CD's on relatively few spells, with skill being added by the ability to time heals/use defensive CD's to mitigate burst. Currently, the entire system is not viable since you have no clue who is being targeted with what until the spell lands. By that time its too late. There is zero reason to not have a modern UI for a new 2015 game. Its hard to imagine that the devs can be so disconnected from modern games as to not know this is a "thing".
