If using ANY ability will lock you in the zone and make you wait at zone exit for gankers to get their free kill?
Using an ability that has an effect on an enemy will put you in combat with that player. This counts all sorts of damage and all sorts of cc. Even using a reflect ability would be affected since it dealt damage to the enemy player.

For example: If you hit someone with your bloodletter E, you will get in combat with him. If you dashed but hit noone with it, you won't be.

After the last time you interacted with someone you went in combat with, a timer will start. After about 20-30 seconds you will leave combat and be able to zone.

Some skills are for mobility, some skills are offensive mobility skills.
all mobility skills will put you in combat because they have dmg slows or stuns build in

If there was no combat lock that would make for cheesy zoning tactics.
haha this guy.. he used dash to run away, and now hes locked inside a zone with our 25 man group of hobos, haha! not cheesy at all !
Haha, this 40 men group just wait in entrance for enemy zerg to engage on them, use Bloodletter E and lots of "runaway moves" and after taking some kills just leave the map.
And that's a cheese I tought in 10 seconds. Imagine the horrific tactics people would devise after some tought.
    • Just like escape builds, there are fight builds.

If you suck with fight build, you die or wont fight properly.

If you suck with escape build, you die or wont escape .

Ez like that. Fun fact is that 99% of gatherers are brain dead, get into combat and dont even basic mechanics or proper builds and never heard of purge.
Like what is that. Dying once to that should be enough, but its like some people never ever use their brain.

You cant blame the game then, can only blame the players.

1st quote: Not all of them. Bloodletter w for example. And if they do just get skillful avoiding people with it. Need I remind you they aren't really "escape skills" but combat skills which just so happen to be convenient for escaping?
2nd quote: The game can't read your motives so if you use an offensive dash through people it's not going to go "well looking at the security camera footage it's so clear he wasn't trying to fight but was simply running and his knife just mistakenly sliced the Achilles heels of everyone in his path. He couldn't help it" no. You deal damage, you cc someone... That's combat. It's just how it is.

You just have to make sure you avoid hitting people. If you can't then sorry... They got you good. Die.
Use the bloodletter W dash to disengage first and get distance followed by the E to dash if the path is clear, then boot away.
You're most definitely pronouncing my nick wrong... wait till you see my real name tho.

You already did a lot of damage on this thread, you can't escape it anymore.
