      Fort Sterling Rare Animal Reserve

      Introduction
The Sterling Bank is pleased to open the Fort Sterling Rare Animal Reserve to the general public. This reserve contains one of the largest collections of rare animals in Albion Online. Rather than have these beautiful animals sit in a private collection, the public is encouraged to see and enjoy them! The Tame Ghostwolf, Master's Fawn, and Master's Tame Giant Stag was only able to be acquired from July 17, 2017 to August 1, 2017 making them incredibly rare and this is your chance to see what a farm looked like during this time period. Come and step into a time capsule of Albion Online history!

      Main Attractions

There are 2 Tame Ghostwolves on the reserve.
There are 3 Master's Fawns on the reserve.
There are 11 Master's Tame Giant Stags on the reserve.

Guests can also ask to see a Ghostwolf and Master's Giant Stag in-game at the reserve!

      Other Attractions
These beautiful and rare animals are kept on an island thats been running since the very beginning of Albion Online. Apart from the animals, the island also boasts Explorer homes that give visitors a look at what an early Albion Online farm looked like during release. There are also rare statues and other items dotted about the island so feel free to look around and enjoy the sights! Visitors can also use the island to host events.

      Cost
Free! It won't cost you any silver to enjoy any of the attractions at the Fort Sterling Rare Animal Reserve. All you have to do is notify Zorva that you wish to have access to the reserve and you will be made a visitor to the island. You can either request access here in the forum or in-game. The reserve is currently on Zorva's Island.

      Lifetime Membership
Once given permission to visit the reserve, you will have visiting rights to the island indefinitely unless you become an inactive player. Players who are inactive for a month or more will be removed from the visitor list. However, if a player returns after being removed then they can ask for permission again to be a visitor. If you have a lifetime membership and no longer wish to be on the visitor list, you can request to be removed. In the event that the members list becomes full, capped at 50, then the oldest members may be taken off the list to give an opportunity for the newest members to enjoy the island.

      Donations
The cost of the Fort Sterling Rare Animal Reserve is free, but if you like what we're doing and want to support us you can leave a donation in any of the chests dotted around the island.

You'll run into the 50-entry limit for island permissions pretty soon this way - you might want to reconsider the duration of memberships.

I would be more than honored to add my favorite MOD to the visitor list. I just want to say that the discontinued items posts you did back in the day is what encouraged me to get into collecting and therefore made this rare animal preserve possible today. Thanks for everything you do for the community!

I was unaware there was a 50 entry limit for an island. I guess once the reserve hits 50 visitors I can rotate out the oldest members with the newest ones. Thanks for letting me know. I'll change the original post.

Since you mentioned it, I went to check it out but apparently the post is gone :| forum.albiononline.com/index.p…-Discontinued-Items-List/

      What happened?

I created that thread back when I was working as a freelancer in customer support and was only a volunteer moderator on the forum. I became a Community Manager after that, and the thread was suddenly seen as "official". Players then started using my thread as justification for complaints whenever we re-released an item (even though nor SBI, nor my thread made claims to the exclusivity of the items in question). In the end, the thread did more bad than good and I decided to delete it.

For this reason, these types of threads are best handled by members of the community rather than staff members. So if anyone is interested in creating their own thread on discontinued/time-limited items, I'd be more than happy to share the information I have on this topic.

I would be more than willing to create a thread on discontinued/time limited items. I wasn't sure if SBI would be ok with it after the other thread was taken down. As a collector I've kept tons of information on many of these old items (like stats mounts had before they became skins and old icons), that I could combine with what you have. I have done similar threads for games like Dead Frontier and RuneScape in the past and I would have a blast doing the same for Albion Online. I'll also monitor the thread to prevent "justification for complaints" by clarifying the issues with exclusivity. I'll go ahead and start going through my hard drives with piles of Albion related stuff :D .

That reminds me of one of the first days of Albion when someone bought my T2 Tool and the message said "your T2 Axe(?) bought by Elsa"
Damn now you are full time employee at SBI? And I am still a forum Buffoon? What the hell happened?

I want my T2 Axe back, dammit!
