Crowd control And why it needs to be Nerfed

    • Crowd control And why it needs to be Nerfed

Currently it is far too easy to cc someone for over 60 seconds. This is even more prevalent in the current meta ganking builds. If you get caught for whatever reason in this meta , you wil be cc'ed for over 50 seconds with no hope of being able to move. The chain cc needs to have diminishing returns on victims, because right now ganking is completely free silver. I have run several test wearing plate armor while riding an ox. Each time i find a ganking party, I'm blessed with chain cc that will make pin head blush. Each and every time its the same builds, and each and every time I'm locked in place or slowed up to 90 percent with no hope of ever moving at all, even after dismount.

@Retroman for the love of god add diminishing returns on cc. Give players added cc resistance the more crowd control hits them, obviously limit it based on how many people hit you with cc and adjust a cap from there. Because as it stands one claw, one snare is all it takes and your dead. This is why gathering seems dead in the black zone currently, your gathering gear is irrelevant , you get caught by a competent gank squad with meta builds you are dead.

and this issue does not only apply to ganking etc...it will have long lasting effects in the new hellgates with the lava mechanic, the meta will be perma cc builds. So just know you have been warned as to what is to come.

try to gank dude. if u do, u will get that ganking is not an easy thing, and not profitable in big groups. also u will get how to avoid gankers tho xd
Im a literal master at ganking, and weather or not it is profitable for your group is relative to your methods and where you gank. When we gank we make millions per hour at least 5-6 mill an hour on the high end of traffic , and 2-3 mil on the low end.And if your a healer you may make more due to donations. All of this is irrelevant to the fact that cc needs to be adjusted. It just way to easy to stun lock a person with zero diminishing returns.

This is literally already a thing.
Yes Diminishing returns exist already, but not on a universal level in which I'm asking for. For example if you hit someone with a stun, then stun them again, it will not last as long. That's great, but it is irrelevant to how the game is played Why? because it does not factor in other forms of cc used, when spaced out from each other.

Example: Stun target wait 5 seconds , fear target, wait 3 seconds , root target wait 5 seconds, stun target with different skill wait , 5 seconds, chain target, freeze target.

All you have to do is apply cc in a sequence and then chain that sequence, and you can freeze a target almost indefinitely, and all you need is 5 people to do this. The elite gankers(not the guild, talking in general) figured this out a long time ago, that's how we kill big value targets and guarantee kills on any one we catch. Ganking is too easy right now once you understand this. It is so easy, it down right boring.

The current diminishing returns only work well for zvz thats it, it may as well not exist when applied to ganking.

5-6 mil for how much people? for 5-6 people it's 1mil in hour per each and it's literally stalker corrupteds average income.
Btw whats wrong with that 5-6 people can kill 1 guy? Anyway, game have builds for counter it. Yep, and also ganking builds are weak since it made for cc. 3 guys in 4.1 is enough to kill 5-6 gankers in 6-6.1 sets
