Royal Continent Rework and Hellgate Location removal - Migration List

    • Royal Continent Rework and Hellgate Location removal - Migration List

      Good day to you all,
With Call to Arms we are introducing Faction Warfare 2.0 and the reworked Hellgates, for both features we had to rework the Royal Continent, redesigned Caerleon and remove all static Hellgate locations from the Royal Continent, Outlands and Roads of Avalon.
Therefore we will have a Player Migration with Call to Arms where players will be moved to cities or to the exit of their current Zone.

      Balltevault Migration - Royal Cities
Battlesvaults in all Conquerors' Hall Lvl 3 have been removed, items from these Battlevaults will be moved to the recovery tab of the corresponding City Bank and can be claimed immediately and without a fee.

      Caerleon Rework
All building plots remain in the same position, but we will need to remove all furniture placed in Caerleon as a lot of the main structure was changed to better reflect the new Caerleon Faction.
All furniture in Caerleon will be destroyed!

    • This doesn't really affect me, but when you think about it. It's kind of effed up. Roads drop was in august and HO zones 4/6 - 5 man, and 5/7 - 2 man. So some guilds legit dropped in 5's just for the 2man hellgate.

Then they drop a patch saying they can't all use the same HO. So now many HO popped up in some of these road zones. After which your like OOPS so long hellgate. Enjoy ur trash zone that now has nothing you care about.

Hideout zones were always about having a starting points to explore the road, not about living in a single zone forever, though. I doubt any HO had this unique purpose.

You are not wrong, however this information should have been presented. Before/when they said Hey now you need a level 3 HO or gotta make your own, and I've legit seen zones explode with HO they probably don't care if they have now.

Since they talked about possibility of Hellgate maps during that time this info should have also been made available. in my opinion (even though it my opinion doesn't matter). I technically benefit from this since my HO in a T6 zone and i'd rather 2man vs 5man

Thats a fair statement, expect it's not a broadcast to most people like dev info. Also many players don't even frequest the forums let alone the RT on the forums.
    • The HG's 2x2 map is ridiculous cheap, i think that making this map a bit expensive will make people think twice before entering a HG x2 with a shitty gear (the most commom problem at HG's x2 at this moment), there are a lot of rats that can easily get the minimum IP 900 with a real low gear, like t5, that costs no more than 50k.

If the price of the map is like 100k or above, those rats will not make money by trying to find empty gates, cuz the cost of the map will make them lose money over time.

People still can open HG maps at the HO zones in the roads, no? Its in the patch notes.
