When they say ‘easier’ they most likely mean it has a bigger area to click on. They don’t mean mount speed as all mounts are the same in that respect.

my guess is that what you read is referring to the following:

When you mount up and then dismount manually you mount will stand next to you, there is a white ring indicating how far you can go until it despawns.

As long as your mount is still "physically" standing there and you mount up it will be way faster than the normal way.


however
that has nothing to do with other players standing nearby or anything, it's only you and your own mount.
