Why?Isn't the "older players" the ones making more fame per hour so using more money in reespec? Isn't the "older players" the ones who use the BM the most, so they earn less silver now?
This change is not "rich vs poor", is just economical balance, fiscal policy if you must.
Yes to all the that. However they have such an economy prebuilt or money stored up that it does not effect them. so they lose when they farm, then they make 10m a day off there labours, or they are already billionares..

Or they do corrupted in full 8.3 and farm most of the people they see, scoring insane amt more money. This slows down there income but they can continue to do what they do. newer players or even players who just been playing casual for a year now can't do what they normally do.

most of the player base do not make money farming dungeons when they are fame farming to start with.

I would go so far as to say that, if you are already focused on using the respec option for maximum fame credits, that you are in fact not a new player anymore.

This change actually puts more silver into new players pockets. As long as you don't have respec on, you are earning 15% more silver from mobs and losing nothing.

The increase to the costs of respec is also only slightly higher than the increase to mob silver. So really you are just complaining about a very insignificant change to the game, as if it was the sky falling on your head.

People need to stop acting like any change that SBI makes, no matter how small, is just the most important decision in the history of the game.

The concerning part of this change is that, for the second time, SBI has decided that instead of fixing the root problems of silver inflation by fixing the broken silver generation problems, they are instead just taxing every player in the game at higher rates in order to get the wheels of this train back on the tracks.

It's starting to feel like real life, where the government fixes all problems by charging all citizens more taxes, even if the problem is only being caused by a few people, or people doing only certain things.

Thats a MINORITY of players. Not becauise you're old you're rich in this game. I have a loooooot of friends that play since the start of FTP and they still need to gather daily to be able to afford their expenses. I know a lot of old players that need to ask lended money to pay for their fame credit

Your second point is same point i'm making.. real life they tax middle class and lower class while rich are really uneffected by change.

to your first point as a new player who joins a guild first piece of advice i see given or was given to me. "level a farm set first" then respec credit the rest since it's faster then level the other weapons. Since you farm faster and get a whole set dumped into 1 pile then used on 1 item. which is also a point your missing in ur comparison.

15% increase on 1 drop of silver
      vs
15% increase on every piece of gear they are are using at 100 spec.

those 2 are not close to equal.
