"The character name you have chosen is already being used by another player" - A very common problem in MMO games, Albion Online is no exception. But in comparison with other MMOs, Albion Online is one big Server! AO developers do not fix this problem and do not see it. Many one-day players, creating a character, reserve beautiful and sonorous names for themselves, and after a couple of days of play, or even completely abandoning the process on the "training island", leave the game. Players leave, but the name remains on his account. I am very interested in the question, will such accounts ever be cleaned? Give the opportunity to add symbols to the character name, or even a double name. Is it so difficult to implement?

Due to that mechanic, I managed to remember a random bunch of letters and I use that name when the "name already used" message pops up
Another option (which isnt the best because it can fck your name purpose) its to just put a number after it

I don't know why MMO developers can't make it first name last name unique. Seems to be a serious issue in coding otherwise you would think they would move away from AOL 3.0 naming conventions from the late 90s.Scotia, Baron of Carafax
