Impossible to destroy my house !!

Hello guys,

I need to moove my Island. As a consequence, I destroyed all my buildings. All ? No... I don't understand why, but the "destroy" button related to my house is not clickabble.

Do you have any idea?

Hey there.

Check if the house is currently being upgraded. You will need to either finish the upgrade or cancel it. After that you can demolish the house as usual.

I don't know if it's relevant, but it is a founder house T3.

House need to be empty before destroy, make sure you did left any furniture piece, for example, some fish trophie are really tiny and you can lost sight of it, several other object have this characteristic, tiny and very easy to lose sight of it, but it can prevent the house from being destroyed.

Really weird. Seems bugged. Only thing I can suggest is try and upgrade (cheap for that tier) and see if it unbugs it and then allows a demolish. Or report it as a bug.

It does seem like your house is in the process of being upgraded, since only the upgrade button is available. What happens when you click on the "Upgrade" button? Does it give you an option to cancel the upgrade?

Thank you Elsa and Midgard for your concern.

As you will see on the screenshot, when I click on the upgrade button, I am asked to confirm the upgrade. Meaning that the house is not in the process of being upgraded.

Something else very, very odd : as I am about to move, I have sold all my belongs on the market (except the founders gifts), meaning that I have no wood, nor stone, absolutely nothing left in my inventory or in any chest (in fact, I don't have chest anymore). How is it possible that most of the ressources for the upgrade of the house are "green"????

That means its actually in the middle of upgrade, green dots mean you already provided those resources, and only last one is still pending to fulfill.
You should be able to cancel it, if not, provide the last item and complete the upgrade, then you can destroy it.

I thought « being upgraded » meant « construction in progress » and not just « some ressources uploaded months ago inadvertently ». As you may have noticed we are in the beginner section Mr. Facepalm.
