Whether you enjoy or not is up to you. This is a sandbox game. You decide your goal in this game.

It depend what's your objectives you want to achieve and how fast you want them to be done. Also thoses objectives you need to have that "motivational drive" to achieve them.

I think you can, If you dont mind to have a slower progress. Corrupted and gathering in yellow zone are the only content ok in terms of reward. You can do solo Dungeon too, but It doesnt even pay Fame respec without flag faction.

Another content you can do safely is personal Island, craft, hce(need a Very high investiment and almost Full specs)

Dont need to be afraid of cap at yellow. You can progress at yellow forever If you want.

A large number of people who start out playing only in safe zones only do eventually venture into Red and Black zones. Never say "i'l never go into a red or black zone" because who knows, you very well may.

The yellow zone is the tutorial area. While you certainly can stay there forever if you so choose what distinguishes Albion is the full loot PvP.

The game is, nowadays, in a very 'carebear' state.

Red and Black zones, after you get some knowhow, is extremely easy to walk around without getting yourself killed.

Join a guild, gather information about how the game works, use cheap gear... and enjoy everything the game has to offer. Go to red/black zones.

This is technically the right answer IMO.
