Steam vs Stand Alone Client

    • Steam vs Stand Alone Client

      Hell-o,
If I play via the stand alone client, I get that my hours played will not be accurately reflected in Steam. However, assuming I log in through Steam once an a while, will other achievements be counted? Such as Welcome to Albion, Get Off My Lawn, etc.

Example: If I am playing through the stand alone client, and I help to capture an outpost, will I receive the "Get Off My Lawn" achievement the next time I log in through the Steam client? Or will I have to assist in the capture of an outpost while logged in through the Steam client for it to count?

I hope that question makes sense!

      Thank you.

    • UPDATE: It seems I was able to answer this myself. At least with gathering fame, "Yes, it does."

The Steam Achievement "Gathering is not a game! It's war!" updated with values I gained while using the Stand Alone client once I logged back in via the Steam client.

I won't speak for all other achievements, but my guess would be that they also would update in a similar manner.
