    • Looks like you guys listened to the community feedback. Allowing any team to participate that reaches level 9, allowing a substitute, all good things!

I only wonder what made you decide for the huge gap in the ip cap between group stage and semi final stage? Also could you specify if this cap is a hardcap or if it is a softcap if it is 20% or 50%?

Hi, apologies for the confusion, but for this tournament, only teams that win Level 9 will be invited to participate. We realise that the wording wasn't clear and I have edited the OP to reflect this.

The IP cap will be a soft cap, so for example with the Level 4 IP cap, IP above 1200 would reduce to 20%.

Dependent on how the match structure is finalized, it may be that teams would have to take part in multiple matches, which could result in high amount of gear loss costs and we wanted to balance it accordingly.

So its still fully rng if the actual top teams even get into the tournament lmao....people said this before, If the #1 team and the #2 fight in lvl 9, a top 3 team doesnt get to go to the tournament which defeats the whole point of that tournament.

Aah, unfortunately. IMO allowing any lvl 9 participant to join would be better. Also, even with 1200 ip/20% ip cap, dont be surprised if everyone still shows in 8.2/8.3 Any small advantage adds up.

I think the skins should be binded in your account, so ppl would not be able to RMT it. And the gap between lvl4 - lvl9 is too high, I would say to IP cap the first games as 1400/1500 IP
      I agree with that.

I think the gap is way too big. The gamestyle is totally different when u play in low ip and high ip. Even the teams work different in high ip.

And please, bind the mounts in the accounts! Thahts anti rmt stuff.

      STRUCTURE

While the full details on the tournament structure (group stage, double elimination, best-of-three etc) will be finalized and announced once the actual number of participating teams have been determined, the following will apply:

From the start of the tournament until the top four teams are determined

      Level 4 IP cap (1200)
      Semi-finals (top four teams)

      Level 9 IP cap (1700)
      Finals (top two teams)

      Level 9 IP cap (1700)
For all matches, each round won delivers Level 3 off-season rewards.

Omg why is the IP set down to 1200 IP and only set to 1700 IP from the semi-finals. To take part in the tournament you have to win a Kristel T9 game with 1700 IP. I think everyone wants to see the tournament on Twitch that is played on 1700 IP and not on 1200 IP that is completely wrong. The qualification fell in Season 9. So you don't have to start with 1200 IP. Then you could have made a tournament with every team that registered. And not only a qualification should start with Season 9.

Feel so bad for you boys. @Mytherceria Exactly as i mentioned before. Goof #1 team vs KrakenE #2 team fought in lvl 9. now krakens team is disqualified for the tournament. Very sad...

Edit : KrakenE's team literally play perfect scores against some of the teams who placed for the tournament (1ogics team, derricks teams and unusal's team to name a few)

Edit 2 : Goof's team will win tourney, everyone already knows this. KrakenE's team were the only ones who stand a chance against them.
