Dev Talk: Corrupted Dungeons

    • Suggestion : Make use of mechanic commonly seen in Battle Royale games. So that rats won´t just run around, make it so that the map will after while start to push people into center or some point in the map - so that people will be forced to fight against each other, or die.

      That would be a nice suggestion for the last difficulity in corrupted dungeons. I doubt anyone wants to see Ratted Dungeons, and this could certainly make it more fun

      This mechanics should be used for HGs long time ago, but they dont wanna give players pvp.

      There is alot of options to not fight, that why i ask, where is the 1 v 1 fights?
      Is no 1 v 1 fights, is a goal for brand new "1 v 1 content?"

      Shard on video have 400 hp, and get 49 damage by normal attacks.
      Any way, 20 seconds for frost, still 5 seconds for 1h dagger, but 40 for someone like claymore.

      when you go to war they didn't have 17 different helmets in there bags. Lol you don't need to win ever single dungeon you don't really get good at the game that way lol or people feel attached so it forces more rats cause they know players will just counter ever build they want to try. Idk maybe the first two difficulty levels no gear switch then big dick mode we keep it

      Please consider all this feedback about the corrupted dungeons people have been starving for some 1v1 PvP options frankly for many years now. Be careful in implementation so that the rat crowd does not destroy this content.

      *If you insist on having shards for banishment make sure they take awhile to kill to prevent the speed builds that just run to these with 0 intention of ever fighting. More specifically it should not be easy to banish people.
      *Consider disabling gear swapping inside these dungeons (please also consider this in HGs but that is another topic).
      *Consider the final boss area to be a locked area of combat. When you pass through this area you cannot leave it again.

      Most of us would probably still play these dungeons regardless because we just need at least SOME content available but similar to the current 2s HG situation please do not make it unnecessarily annoying to attempt in enjoying this content.

      Over 100,000 people play this game according to the words SBI, how many reactions are there?
      What if maybe 99 900 are happy for the shards, switching gear, option for ratting..?
      If you really want something that has weight, do a survey, spam chat in game, guilds etc and get (I don't know) at least 30-40k people what are dissatisfied, then maybe some feedback will have an impact on what it will look like in the final.
      Otherwise it's just the opinions of a few dozen people here, which isn't even 1% of the players playing AO... ;)
