    • Upcoming update (artifacts branch changes)

From what I understood whats upcoming the next update, is that -among other things- the artifact destiny board will be split up (For example, demon armor, graveguard armor etc are split up)

Does this mean that you have to craft for example graveguard armor artifact to levelup graveguard? or will you still be able to level up graveguard armor by leveling other artifact armors?

If you cannot levelup your spec in a more expensive artifact by crafting a cheaper one, I think it destroys the ability for new crafters to become a profitable crafter, since it will be much harder to gain any spec. Please dont do this..
    • Well, I suppose this way should be the correct one. To split and each one will level based on what is crafted. Doesn't make much sense to craft a Shoe and you become expert in Helmet crafting, and also don't make sense u craft Demon Armor and get specs in Graveguard.

So I also don't think you should cry about a kinda obvious exploit being removed (if they actually remove this).

      Yes, exactly.
Now by crafting Whispering bow you're exping all the artifact bows, one section, after update you will exp only Whispering bow section and if you want Badon specialization then you'll have to craft Badon bows on which a more expensive artifact is needed.
All you have to do now is buy a few thousand t6 Ghastly arrows, craft bows, study them, and max level is here. It's simpler and especially cheaper - more affordable for new/starting crafters.
For people who have already reached the maximum level those don't care, older players don't cut it either, they have heaps of silverware and high daily profits but novices are elsewhere and this makes it hard for them..
So if that's how it's going to be I'm against it and the SBI has an thumbs down from me..
    • I mean they referred to the fighting trees, not to the crafting so far. I hope it isn't the case since it already cost between 200-300mil to max out just 1 category (for example plate armor torso) and some might even be more expensive to max out.

Would nice to have Elsa, PrintsKaspian, Retroman or Mytherceria comment on this if the changes will affect crafting trees the same way while also adding the avalonian tree.

      Well I hope you're right..

I asked about it on dev talk thread, no answer..

Hey there, @Obelis just made a statement clarifying this in the Dev Talk: Avalonian Weapons thread:

      Obelis wrote:

The artifact crafting specialist nodes are being split as well, with the same fame logic as the combat nodes. However, crafting artifacts will give bonus fame to destiny board progression to offset the different rarities of the artifact items so that new players aren't barred from completing these crafting specialties. :)

Hope that helps to answer your question!
