Yes, you're playing games you already own, but it is a platform, because there's an interface that makes playing them much simpler than it would be on a blank virtual machine, where you'd have to install everything manually. And the way Nvidia promotes GeForce Now—and eventually makes money off of it—is by advertising the games in its library.

GeForce Now isn't exactly the same as going to a friend's house or borrowing a PC and installing your games on it. While there might be no functional difference for the user, there's a big difference in the relationship between the developer and the company providing the hardware.
Might be a reason why this is happening. Some of the involved companies don't really like the thought of someone else making money out of their games through a platform. They never really agreed to a contract where both parties will benefit. A number of licensing processes being bypassed, processes that could've netted the developers some revenue.

      Hey there,
Talion mentioned it in his statement here, but I'd like to clarify it a bit further:

Geforce Now added the game to their library without even asking us. We are now having to take the blame for something that we had literally nothing to do with.

The issue that we have with Albion being on GFN right now is that it has been implemented by them as being exclusive to Steam players. That is not acceptable for us - if we make a service such as GFN available, it would have to be made available to all players equally.

So what your saying is... i can no longer play albion. thanks alot.

Please guys keep insisting day after day to get what we want, let's keep asking for what we want you to keep listening to us so you don't have any other choice to please the community.
I really think they are ignoring us xD but here we continue to insist return albion to GeForceNow please
That is why we are not only talking on the forum, we have to write to all their social networks and continue to insist and only see a comment on Twitter and that is the network that hurts them the most if we all harass so much by all their networks and not simply by a forum where they do not care they will not do anything I try to post a tweet a day so if you are reading this on twitter insta face reddit any social network write their discontent.

      1. Hello Albion community, we must make them listen to us not only in the forums on their social networks, we must share our anguish and the desire we have for them to return to the streaming service if we do not echo if we do not support and harass them Day after day, they will put it in months, even years, so you do not play albion through the nvidia system.I invite you to participate for the friends, guild mates and even the rivals and thousands of stories that you have lived and that people live day after day.
      2. twitter Seo Albion twitter discord facebook youtube reddit
      3. Please if you seriously want the albion returned in ge-forceNow, tell him once every day, make yourselves heard that the community supports the use of the application and that we want it returned as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, what everyone has imagined is happening. The SBI is slow to care about people's opinions and doesn't even want to make a decent statement. It is sad that you seek hope in the dark.

because as long as there is a light we must continue insisting they cannot ignore their community we need them to listen to us if they do not do it now they will not do it later and if they do not do it later they will never be the one who perseveres reaches out and our friends and unions await us to continue living adventures with them.
    • It is official, boys! SBI has given us the middle finger! "Get lost, player base! You'll all have to keep on playing with 250 ping, blackscreens, no ZVZ, no ultra graphics, just because we decided so!"

"Do you have hundreds of hours dedicated to this game? Did you believe in our company and invested real money? Have you made friends in the game, and now can not play with them? Have you even started a new character JUST to play through GFN?"

"Well, whatever, it's your problem and you know what? This is not even our fault, no one here asked GFN to add our game to their catalogue in the first place!"

"Thank you for your time and money, now go find something else to do? What? did you buy 3 months of premium and now can't play? Sorry to hear that, but again, thank you for your time and money, retards!"

This is actually stupid!! They give us the posibility to play LAGBION OFFLINE without lag and much more FPS than a normal pc. Cause' not all your players are from a 1st world, there's people who can't pay for a good pc to play their game. They didn't ask to you, I get it. BUT are they really making money with a F2P GAME?????, this is such a stupid thing. THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE who already put REAL MONEY on the game, becasue through GNF we can play without worries. Please SBI press the mf "OPT-IN" button, almost 2 weeks on the same boat. or are u waiting for a big bunch of money to do it? It is that, money? We need a real date, how much longer are u hold over this issue? @Korn

@Korn sorry man. I hope you take this the good way. This answer is a joke. There is no answer here and no clarification on the non-answer @Talion gave us.

U need to get serious. Some people payed real money (not my case i payed for my first premium only for support) before you decided to remove GFN and you didn't have the decency to give them a heads uo. Not even a post or announcement.

Now you don't restore the game and give ud the users a real answer that can really give us an idea on that is the issue. Its clear that you are not willing to inform us about this matter. But what's worst is your attitude facing this point in particular.

You are rrally looking like amateurs and behaving as such. SBI is aparently run by some kids that dont really care about there users and the consecuences of their acciones on the people that, in one way or another in a small or a big portion, paying for the bills.

You should give a seriuos answer regarding time for thr reestablishment of the platform. The why besides this excuse of being for a portion of the user base, that was affected on a negative way, which is very diferent than the other part that was nor affected at all.

The whole desition is just unjustified. Be clear. The answer should not be written by someone that cannot give us a straight answer or even a real one.

The solution is easy. Put it back up. Then expand to your native client so you can take back the people you "lost" to steam.

We need not only an answer. At this point we need more of a solution
