Violation of TOS (Gambling Websites)

    • Violation of TOS (Gambling Websites)

This is my first time making a post, and this is just ridiculous in the gaming industry. I've experienced this type of thing in many games, especially in MMORPS's. But Albion Online is what they say a purely driven game BASED off of the community and their actions. Seeing gambling, scams, and buying silver from other 3rd party websites is ruining this game. Sure, maybe you want to top up your balance or help boost your in-game status; there are many other ways to do so. Using these sites to achieve goals isn't only cheating your own experience it also shifts the community into a lazy path. I've watched Albion grow from the very beginning and finally got my hands on it during Alpha. I enjoy this game a lot and I'm sure many of you do too. If this sort of behavior continues then this game truly will die. A website I would like to point a finger at today is - AlbionCasino.com - here you will find people using Siphoned Energy as a website currency for gambling. This is against TOS (4.5.1) and is illegal in many countries involving their promotion. I will list some people I've seen active on their Discord and also using main accounts. I've also put notable guilds alongside some of their names. This isn't to put a dark light on those guilds, but to help influence leadership from them to take action against it.

Negative ghostrider, they don't break the rules. That's the no RMT rule that you linked, which doesn't apply unless you have actual evidence of them RMTing.
Which you do realize that gambling siphoned is more than likely affiliated with RMT from purchasing or selling silver. That's the main point about it. I don't really care about people who actually play the game and want to gamble with it. The main issue is having the option to RMT through gambling, even if it isn't direct. For example, people who liked to gamble virtual cosmetics and items in CSGO often only spent money on those items to gamble on websites. Similar to what is being done here.
    • so if u cut down tree u should be banned because u have the option of rmting that t5 log? its reason they use siphoned energy, so everyone is logged in chests and anyone can be banned if they rmt, i dont think they need ur help finding people who deposited/withdrawn

rmt should be seen separate to gambling, cause that would be saying blackzone is rmt chance because u lose all ur shit if you die, or zvzs too - rmt should be banned and enforced harshly, which from what i've seen since alpha/beta they do, so if someone rmt ban them but don't confuse playing some minigames with rmting

What even is that response lol. Are you sure you read that correctly? Alright, guess I'll hold your hand for the concept... 1. I make a new account. 2. I buy silver from a 3rd party website. 3. I the purchase Siphoned Energy and use it on a website. 4. I turn around and sell the silver on the same 3rd party website.

Missing: actual evidence this is happening.
Also missing: once you spend your silver on siphoned energy, how are you selling the silver you spent?

Probably because an expressed issue. The only reason I can see you commenting about specifics is also probably because you're not grasping the concept. Also, probably because you are a part of this or know people who are affiliated with it. It's a verbalized issue, much how any scenario can be. AGAIN, the main reason on why this thread was made was to put a light on gambling... which if you've been around any gaming community, you'll know it's an issue for the base of the game.

So I can buy illegitimate silver, gamble it to earn more silver, and sell that silver illegitimately, but somehow the casino is at fault?

      Projecting much?
I mean, if the shoe fits. You should really look up the word "CONCEPT" because I think that you're having issues understand English context. I also never said the actual website was at fault, just on the action of gambling and those who are participating in that behavior.
    • I agree on the gambling part, it is scummy but some of those names shouldn't be on the list. For example Durateen has never streamed gambling, he only had the logo.

For the breaking TOS part, they are using siphoned energy as a currency for online gambling, this is illegal in the country of origin of SBI. Another part I want to touch up on is; they are rewarding siphoned energy for the use of their site in the form of the "redeem codes" as far as I know that is also breaking TOS - rewarding in game items/curreny for the use of a 3rd party site, which can also translate, in it's own form, to RMT.

Well, just buying silver is means ban.
      1. I asked moderator: scam is the game part even if abuse the duel equip exploit.

      2. We all see on forum: using the chest exploit to kill it without getting agro - make 50m silver for 5h? Sure, no ban.

      4. Gambling? Also no bans.

      5. Alt scouts i reported several times for last 4 month, still not banned, same as the owners of this scouts.

It is all against TOS. But no one cares, even if players reporting about it.

I really can't think this is about players drived economy, its about incompetence of stuff who should watch for reports and exploits abuses.

Oh what to say, if the report button says: send evidence to support, but at same time support says "we are not working with reports and have no instruments to work with it".

Like... WHAT? Okay...ill put my report to my fair play ass.

    • For the violation of TOS; SBI clearly doesnt care.. it's all about who's breaking the TOS/TOU

For the list of name on the OP x'th forum account; it has no value for me since u create a new account to name drop/snitching

On the list of name you dropped i've seen some doing the publicity for some illegal third party cheat program without any problems..

      Farrchie & Irawr nailed it...

@ryandro explain me what happen if u buy gold to buy silver to buy siphonned energy to go gamble ur syphonned energy.. as soon the game selling currency any form of gamble is nasty.. illegal gamble depending on ur area.. where i live the gamble is dealt by the states..
Why they using syphonned energy? Cuz, the stupidest poeple will say this is not gambling with real money.. even if u can buy them, to gamble, with real money

SBI should have already took action.. but as always it depend who breaking the law.. the noble or the pleb!? The noble can break the term of use/services, harass the pleb no problem.. this is how SBI works with his community managing.. Wait when someone like me gonna be promoting it with codes like: KroDuK150

Personally.. i would have no problem see someone with a dice InGame doing some gambling games like in any good Sandbox games.. if SBI was not selling currency.. cuz as soon they does it turn into RealMoney gambling... that web site aint part of the game u cannot hold SBI responsible legaly.. if they was not aware of the situation.. In this case of someone with addiction ruin himself buying gold to gamble on the third party.. i hvnt read the TOS/TOU for that part, but pretty sure they could be hold responsible for not stopping the gambler from buying gamble currency with his real money.. in a form encouraging the gamble site by selling the gamble his currency for real money (gold)

-like recently about the use of third party program against the TOS/TOU.. aint legit.. finally let'S close the thread telling it'S not legit and come ask the CM on support she'll give u the permission to break the tos/tou (RULES) one by one X/

BTW... They will ignore the legal problem since someone just using their currency to deal an illegal GAMBLING site.. u can see they were aware of it in early 2019 (old forum post) and did nuthing.. in their head they have free police/moderation/GM they gonna say they don't have the tool to stop a third party gambling site using their currency..

All that to say if u wanna stop it.. do it the legal way.. call an inspector or ur lawyer then denounce the poeple promoting it and the actual site.. cuz SBI have no WILL or intention to adress those kind of thing.. this is crystal clear (when they do like third party cheat engine.. they say something to act the different way.. this is ILLEGAL finally we're closing the thread come ask me in private i ll autorise you, real hypocritical) <X

Once more the TOS/TOU are only there so the noble (free SBI moderation) can freely harrass the pleb.. those are not rules but a good way to punish poeple talking badly about them and rewarding the one that kissing their asses by letting them break the TOS/TOU.. i would have said the rules but u cannot call that a rules when some poeple can freely break them, since SBI like them; for their free works.. I wouldnt be surprise if the founder of this site was a part of the round table..

    • You guys are some of the most dumb people I’ve ever met online, except Ryandro and Fred, KroDuK is literally talking about calling the police? For what? “Hello, 911? I think some people on the web are trading virtual currencies for money, I have no proof but you gotta believe me on this one, they are baaaaad people” You call the fucking police if it’s so important to you.

You nerds have way too much time on your hands.

yup, since SBI wont apply their own TOS/TOU for third party cheat engine.. do you really believe they gonna do something for a web site that using their currency to do illegal gambling? they did nothing in early 2019.. best thing to do call an inspector, every big country have virtual police inspector that doing that kind of thing ALL DAY LONG, this is their damn job.. or if ur a victim; like gambling addiction; call ur lawyers

    • I'm more on the lawyers side.. snitching when it doesnt affects me perosnally or to be the white knight is not who I am (if it was a game for young kids i wouldnt say that)..
SBI it is different since this gambling site using THEIR currency and they aware of it and doing nuthing.. this is VERY different.. and what about you dildo? except being a bad boy in front his screen and bitching against the poeple speaking against the illegal gamble? What are you exactly except being a forum troll? Are you even real? ^^
