      The item description says Ability cost reduction -20% (-34% on spec 400).

      Why i think it is a bug:

      1. It is the same stat, but opposite numbers on item and in character stat.
      When equipping it, in my stats I can see the parameter of
      "Ability cost reduction: +34%"
      But item says:
      "Ability cost reduction: -34%"

      So in total, my skills cost more energy to use. Like Flash Heal cost 21 energy without an item, and 28 energy with the item.


      2. This item is a SOUL artifact, and if it Increases the energy cost - it will be significantly worse than regular off-hand Rosalia's Diary (Non-artifact one).
      Why?
      Easy:
      Flash heal with Rosalia's Diary (Non-artifact one).
      Heal for 220
      Cast time 0.37
      CD:0

      Heal per second: 594
      Additional stats for Rosalia's Diary (Non-artifact one):
      Max energy +74
      Energy regen +0.93/s

      Now flash heal with Elder's Muisak (Soul artifact).
      Heal for 257
      Cast time 0.44
      CD:0


      Heal per second: 583
      Additional stats for Elder's Muisak (Soul artifact):
      Max energy +74
      Energy regen +0.93/s

      Ability cost +34% Energy!

      Like if regular shield gives more damage reduction then Caitiff Shield.

      3. If you say, there is a correct stat? Then why it is increasing depend on IP (-20% on no spec and - 34% on 400 specs?). I spec UP to make my stats significantly worse?
      What kind of mechanic is that?

      Lvl up - and your gear will be worse! Get 400 specs to be absolutely useless! (Something like that?)

      It also looks not right to me.

      Heal per second: 241.3
      Additional stats for Elder's Muisak (Soul artifact):
      Max energy +74
      Energy regen +0.93/s
      Ability cost +34% Energy

      HPS boost is 225.4+7.05% = 241.3

      So the real HPS boost is: +7.05%

      The different in heal\mana even less:
      18.3 heals for full energy - 11 346 HP for full mana with Book
      15.75 heals for full energy 11 403 HP for full mana with Muisak



      This still not looks like a correct difference between an artifact for the soul and an ordinary item for me.

      As it does not exclude a change in the value from positive to negative in the IDENTICAL characteristic when dressing an item.
      This is not a difficulty in understanding the characteristics, this is a clear mistake in the description. So "not a bug" is not a correct status for sure. May be not in the item conception (it can just a pure crap concept), but for sure there is stat description bug, like if my heal - will damage for same amount.

      And also, I will not be able to understand how someone in their right mind came up with a characteristic - which worsens the player’s parameters by increase in players progress in the game and an improvement of the item.


      Perhaps the last time the problem was not addressed properly?
      Because no arguments/calculation were provided by TS @Tailhole / @Amoebius76, leading to an incorrect answer?

    • I thought the wording for it was kind of weird too. It definitely sucks that the mana costs get worse as you get more spec with Muisak.

      For the other subject regarding the Tome heals vs. the Muisak heals, you weren't really accounting for the E's, which is fair, since the 1H Holy Staff's E is similar to an emergency button to save whoever you're healing. But I did some calculations with the E included, and I also averaged out the flash heal amounts since the value of a flash heal increases with each stack.
