      @Retroman yesterday we as always go 5 vs 5 hgs and in 2 hours we meet only farmers and running rats in 4.0 4,1 gear. 0 normal fight for 2 hours it super sad. and it was normal prime time like 18 utc. same problem with 2 vs 2 hgs. 80 % time u meet solo players which abuse knight armor undead cape and demon boots. HG always was hardcore content now it total trash where 80 % content it running peopels in 4.1 gear. @Retromancan u guys make minium 1200 IP requirements for HGs ( like "u too weak for enter hell") and it will fix HGs. u delete 5 vs 5 gvgs and now HG ruined. no normal 5 vs 5 content in game now :(

      Right problemstatement wrong conclusion

      the RAT of today in 2 HG is on T8 knight armor undead cape 4.1 T6 spear or bloodletter and shoes and helmet on swap on T8, that is with some spec 1300 IP+ and Taproot

      A simple money gear check does not solve the problem but makes it worse...

      That would be a typical as of today NON-Solution to an existing problem...

      P.S: If you would play from time to time RAT to understand what they do, you would realize the looting requires be FAT, means have enough life or you not grab enough...and be FAT means T7+
    • you have ways to counter rats knight armor + spear.
      One of them is just to clear mobs before bosses.

      Its not liek its imba or something.
      People are using t4.1 and t5 flat cause the rate u die is too high, so it isnt worth to invest in a t8 to do hgs. Its better to die 3 times with equips worth 100k to get a 500k loot than to die once with a 5m eq.
      Simples math.

      T4 and t5 dont have all the skills so I dont feel its wrong the way it is. People are just minimizing the risk.

      easy solution. for 2 vs 2 make entering only for group size 2 people( solo player must not enter 2 vs 2 HG ) and 1200 IP requirements. and for 5 vs 5 just minimum 1200 IP requirements for enter. HG must be high risk high reward content for all

      easy solution. for 2 vs 2 make entering only for group size 2 people( solo player must not enter 2 vs 2 HG ) and 1200 IP requirements. and for 5 vs 5 just 1200 IP requirements for enter.

    • I dont wanna be offensive, but it's time to quit with this "hippie: everyone's is free to do what they like" bullshit. Ratting in hellgate it's a issue that is there SINCE EXTREMELY LONG TIME. Putting the game into zvz it's a choice. I dont like it, but it's a choice. But to destroy the skilled content in this game,which is 5vs5 is a bullshit. Take a drastic change, cap hellgate or something, cause strong players go there to fight not for loot or pve fame. And they/we are already quitting. And btw make crystal league a lot more frequent please.

      This can't be serious. Duo hellgates are supposed to be 2 man PvP content. A solo player will never win a 2v1 situation unless the 2 people are rats aswell. If you want solo pve, there is solo dungeons , if you want solo PvP go duel or gank. Stop claiming that it's good that group content should be played by solo players, just because it doesn't include a mechanic that should prevent them from playing yet. Before hellgate boss oneshot people with less than 4 people in party we had 3 man ratsquads in HG all the time. So making the bat kill solo players surely is a thing. Instanced combat is the last skillbased content left in the game, where people cant win by bringing more numbers. Currently it's not enjoyable at all cause 90% of the PvP is against rats.

      Back to the topic, IP caps surely aren't a solution. Just make that you get the fame by leaving through middle gate. That way people won't just camp middleboss and people will have to 100% win the fight to get the fame / silver. Just make it that if you enter middle gate you go to 2nd instance with a chest that gives loot and fame. And the 5 people inside the gate who didn't go middle instantly die. That way: rats will get 0 fame and silver, so they would lose incentive to rat. Also people wouldn't engage in toxic behaviour like camping middle to get all the game and silver, since zoning through the middlegate would be impossible against a real team.

      Most off the people in your HG video had no faction capes or were in ratbuilds. Just because you can kill lowskilled people in 2v1 doesn't mean that we should allow solo players in duo HG.
      Your videos actually undermine my point, since there's nothing to gain for anyone if you can solo enter a HG. The only reason why you want that solo players should be able to duo HG is to keep your own playstyle at the expense of everyone else's fun.

      You literally said a solo player would never win a 1v2... I clearly posted several fights where I did win against non-rat players (inside and outside the HG) and came really close in others (A for Effort).

    • there's no need for any IP cap in 2v2 nor having the hG restrict to 2 ppl, we only need a smart chest mechanic, but be aware that some ppl just like to be dicks so don't mess it up as some dumbass will probably come with a way of abusing the system if not done corectly.
      For 5v5 i thinck yellow are fine and a good and fun way to make fame while pvping but a IP requirement may be good for red and maybe some change to put the most of the fame on final boss kill (only for 5V5 red tho).

      an another note, i thinck, while your at it, that it would be a very good thing to have the item swich forbid in HG (as long as the rat problem is solve cause that's why most of ppl pick pocket items) , i know veterant and try harder who live in the gate won't like it cause well they wan't to fight with the perfect conter gear anytime and brings all the dam gear in the game but you should have to make choice entering the HG (and it's obv more fair for new players). The "inspect then run to swich gear" game can be prety burlesque sometime.
    • I would suggest the following changes to both 2v2 and 5v5 HG's, and that would be the use of the map and that would be in a 2v2 hg after 30 seconds of killing the bosses lava will start to encircle the map and stop around the middle area that will force people to fight over who gets the loot every time aswell as only having one exit portal.

      In a 5v5 HG same would apply but only after last boss is dead. U might have to do abit of changes to the map layout in the middle to maybe enlarge it for 2v2 or 5v5 so teams with certain compositions and tactics to not be so punished for example kite comps but it would lead to actual fighting which is the point of hellgates no?
    • Yeah Scareh I would love for the shrinking map for the final chest fight. Leaving the middle circle area is enough room for kiting builds to still kite but also small enough where they cannot just simply run in infinite circles without penalty. Mobility is already king in OW the gates should be more of a balance for a variety of builds/fights. Also once again risk/reward the 2s gates chest is actually decent income you should have to take high risk (fight for it) to earn it.
