Adjustment to the Alliance Cap Test on February 26th

    • This is the first time I am actually scared this game can go on a Iatus soon (a few months).

I really cant understand how can you guys propose something that the community asked on your own poll, make it a future IMPORTANT change that people start being hyped about (people coming back to the game, guilds reorganizing etc.) and then GO BACK ON YOUR OWN DECISIONS and do what?
Change nothing and make people mad?

No, make a worse change and make people even more mad than before, now you cannot own more than 10 terries or you start getting punshed for it.
Conquer the map, but not too much of it, leave some terries to the other guilds, is this the definition of a sandbox?

I fear you guys are going to the wrong direction and I fear soon your mistakes will add up so much that your player base will get very tiny.

I also hope Im wrong about that.

Satisfying only a few, is that it is not. There are 350,000 active accounts in the game, in the forum there should be 10,000 active and in the other topic only 1,000 voted, this for me is not the will of the majority.
We have to know how to analyse things properly and look for alternatives and not be radical.

Where did you see 80% of the players?
First Reply, - > To this point there may be 350,000 active accounts, your also counting player alt accounts that they use for focus. While also including the referral clubs that are out there also.

And when he says 80% its from the orginal vote they did on the forums.

@Eltharyon Upcost on terrorties costing siphon energy wont mean anything for large guilds / alliances. Considering there are guilds that have 60,000 + Energy. along with millions in gold.

Almost any changes that take place will make people angry... But i find it odd there are no big name alliance leaders posting their responces yet?/??
    • @Eltharyon

If this patch was before the queen would be amazing BUT

Since we have hideouts this will not stop big and strong alliances to zerg the entire map everyday.

They even found a solution by creating alt alliances so they can spread out in the map , you will see in couple days.

THIS UPCOMING ADJUSTMENTS WILL ONLY AFFECT SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE ALLIANCES AND WILL PREVENT THEM TO BECOME BIG ONE for some time..

I recommend you one thing @Korn put something very important in the map SO big alliances can fight with each other all day long , otherwise you cant make both sides happy.

Strong alliances will always be able to defend their terries even if they are not part of the alliance, creating fake alliance and STAYING AFK IN THE MAP WILL BLOCK PEOPLE TO JOIN IN TO THE MAP..

RELEASE THE CENTER OF THE MAP AND CREATE 24/7 ZERG FEST FOR BIG ALLIANCES...

    • @Eltharyon Stop pretending to be problem solver and accept your choices. It is your lies that are insulting to the players.

If you (really) want open BZ for all guilds players, make areas to control for bronze, silver, gold guilds etc. If not, stop inventing and spending time on unnecessary things.

You worked for months on QUEEN for nothing and you've been communicating on hiding places for weeks to just lie...

We all know here that these changes will not change anything (the 4 are happy and the other players not).

Why pretend to change something if you don't?Be brave and more importantly BE HONEST: don't take your players for idiots.

You are not going to kill the game with the gameplay but with false promises.

    • Most games go through seasonal changes and have major balance changes. The current system is 80% of the old system + hide outs. It's not unreasonable to see changes and a restructure of some systems after a large update as Queen was probably only tested by a few % of the overall population. The main game client will always be the greatest test of new systems with a better data pool. No one has actually seen what these changes could bring, and out of the player base the large alliances where people felt safe might dissolve or just compartmentalize may feel the effects of these changes more than the small guilds as small guilds have always been pretty screwed. Who knows this might make life just a little bit easier, it's kinda of a wait and see. This is coming from someone who has been in a Mega alliance and solo alliance shit happens roll with
    • Jesus, where does some players get so much beer to drink? so many disconnected comments here ... the topic is new, but the cries of the other topic are included here ... and they still say that it is not a matter of ego...
certain people are too hardheaded to accept change and understand the basics ... both the new and the old proposal, everything part of the premise which is a test, and it is not written in stone ...some guys around here have weak ego to understand that ...maybe post a lot, but play a little x)

      Dear Devs, @Eltharyon @Korn

You guys are so disconnected from your community. A lot of guilds are small. A lot of guilds don't want the giant alliance, and obviously our voices don't matter. This is a constant problem, and you are pushing all of the smaller guilds to the way-side. You are worried about players being purged from large guilds and alliances? That is just an excuse to backpedal on a great decision that would have helped your game flourish. How about you worry about every player who is turned away from said alliances? This is a very one-sided scale that is constantly far from balanced and makes it so that most of your player base cannot even experience the game. Do you suggest that the majority of your players, who you constantly give hope to, and then crush that same hope go and play a different game? Obviously you need to play your own game and join one of these small guilds in order to see the problems they face. Go to the black zone. Get chased by the same alliances from zone to zone and just waste your time trying to make any sort of foothold for the people that are relying on you to be able to provide content for your guild. Most of the guilds that play here are small, or made up of new players, or are not accepted by the giant alliances because they do not have enough fame and are not willing to give every bit of work they put into the game to feed that giant alliance. As a Dev, you should be biased toward creating a better game for everyone, instead of being pressured by the tiny minority that have your ear and are just looking out for their own interests. You have a responsibility to all of your player base, and are failing miserably. Grow a backbone. Stick to the hard decisions that are not popular with your IG royalty.
come to Martlock, place a hideout, enjoy the black zone as a small guild
    • "The goal of these measures is to create more natural reasons for Alliances to reduce in size. On their own, these measures will not suffice. We will need to take an additional look at Alliances living in cities, especially the situation around portals, and into introducing more opportunities for small scale groups to succeed in Albion. We do hope, however, to already be able to measure a significant impact of these limitations during the next Invasion day."

They know lol no point getting angry now. This season is a lost cause, confirmed by SBI. We'll get em next season bois.

Imagine some player not giving a fuck about season ? We just want sbi to stop backstabbing everyone outside 4 mega alliance. I'm almost suspecting that some dev are members of the 4 mega leadership at this point.
    • This is an absolute joke.

Silver drops shouldn't even be considered a form of income, its more akin to a visual reward for killing a mob. Fame reduction for people who are already maxed out? Why would megas care about this? It's like telling mega's you don't get a participation sticker if you keep up what you're doing. Nobody cares. Especially when territories do a poor job of communicating where the power of these alliances actually are, which is in massive numbers which are currently the strongest, most meta way of dominating the bz. Removing them would at least make organization more difficult. Solutions have been presented so many times, and seem to be a combination of giving smaller numbers and advantage in fights and increasing the costs associated with territory control.

Last of all, "think of the casuals?", Are you serious? So what if they're kicked, its an opportunity to create a new community built purely for casual players. They can make their own guilds, focus on smaller gains and defense, and enjoy the game at their own pace. This has to be the most backwards excuse for pussying out I've ever seen. Guilds will form built around playstyle: Gathering guilds, crafting guilds etc. The right thing to do to help this transition is give new objectives for these natural formations of guilds. Give gatherers an open world objective (or anything they can work towards) that doesn't involve PvP, same to crafters and other forms of gameplay. Arms dealers, transport services, so much opportunity for new content.

It's a game, not a spreadsheet. Make it fun, not convoluted.

EDIT: Also the round table is absolutely silly. Runescape utilizes a poll system, and it works for the players. That game is alive, and will continue to be through communities working with developers. Why on earth limit it to some few players, its so obviously wrought with potential for abuse its outrageous.
