I put this in bugs, because i think it is something incorrect.. but in case its not please change it

i currently set perms to exclude an alliances using custom perms, but it seems 'other players' having visitor role takes priority perhaps? so they still are allowed in

This is a problem because if we cannot black list people from our hideouts we cannot keep them public, meaning we hurt more solo, small group, and small guilds players.

Please let me black list / fix the bug

you can see both the alliance and guild are both black listed 'no access' but they are in the hideout, No i cannot include timestamps because your image upload has a 1 MB size i have to crop insanely small to get them in here at all. so maybe bump that to 2.5-3 MB in the future.

Here is the bug post about it, its not a bug but obviously works counter to the system.

its been what 6 patches and not a single word about the inability to have public hideouts.

If hideouts could blacklist more public hideouts would be viable, but as it stand gankers can operate out of them and cant be locked out,

This is compounded with the top guilds get ganked by one of those people they come and smash the hideout the ganker operates out of, this means public hideouts cant be used,

But there is no reason for seige camps if there were simply public hideouts in more places, make it feasible to use permissions and people may just do it.

Hideouts are one of the few things that make Queen a viable change for the game, but right now only 10% of the game can utilize them, and the few hundred using ours will be displaced as we will have to shut it before its smashed. Hideouts need to work for the game, they reduce the issue of portal camping, they reduce the gathering issues of risk v reward due to the funneling map structure that queen placed around the portals, and they give people access to higher tier mats - which they are all complaining about.

road map - isnt a great answer so ill keep bumping this it should be in ASAP.

The most simple option i can think of would be to take the custom access rights priority structure,

This will provide blacklisting, while it does make whitelisting individuals from a larger no access group impossible, it at least provides the necessary tools to

Holy shit, so this is worse than anticipated, with threats of destroying a hideout we attempted to work around using a whitelist for people who wanted to use it.

you cant it doesnt work either, there is like a 50 guild hardcap of people you can allow, this is rich permissions are just fucked right now, public hideouts are going to get smashed because a mega alliance member got ganked by someone who cannot be blacklisted out of someone elses public hideout.... wow....


@Korn this is dumb, neither whitelisting nor blacklisting works. another way to ensure small guilds cant play in the BZ
